Driving to Fredericksburg

I-95 South from DC to Fredericksburg on a Friday night or Saturday morning can take much longer than an hour. Alternate routes include Route 1, which runs parallel to I-95 South or take 66 West to Route 17 South. We highly suggest if you are driving to check your GPS for traffic reports and to take 66 West to Route 17 if you are travelling from DC to Fredericksburg during rush hours.
