The Ceremony

Sacred Heart is a beautiful Roman Catholic Church in the heart of downtown Portland, Maine. The Sacrament of Holy Matrimony will be celebrated during a full Catholic Mass, just as Christina's parents, grandparents, and many of her mother's brothers and sisters have done here in years past. We cannot wait to begin our married lives together in this most special place. <3 ***Street parking at Church only. No meter payment required. ***For your convenience, a shuttle bus will be provided to bring guests to and from the ceremony location. Any guest is invited to take the bus, however, it may be most convenient for those staying in the beach area. It will be departing the parking lot of The Landing at Pine Point with guests at 12 pm (SHARP!) to head to the Church. Following the ceremony, the bus will then depart the Church at 2:30 pm to return guests to the reception for cocktail hour. Please see FAQ section for more details. Drinks, dinner, and dancing! Cocktail hour begins at 3 pm, so head over (don't forget about our bus!) after the ceremony and be ready to have an absolutely amazing time! A stone's throw from Pine Point/Old Orchard Beach, The Landing at Pine Point is an exceptional wedding venue which used to be a church that Christina would attend on Sundays when she stayed on Old Orchard Beach with her cousins during summer vacations growing up! A calm and lovely atmosphere, this place is the perfect spot to end your stay in Maine. The Bride and Groom will be enjoying brunch between 8 and 10 am, however, feel free to come any time during the full brunch hours of 7 am - noon to enjoy your meal.
