MSP Airport
MSP airport is going to be the closest large airport to the North Shore, and probably the easiest to get direct flights into. It is about a 3 hour drive to the venue from the airport. There is an airport in Duluth, and it's only about a 40 minute drive away from the venue. However, it is much smaller, and tickets can be more expensive.

Driving Tips
If you're traveling from the south, you'll take I-35 North all the way to Duluth. Once you reach Duluth, you'll get onto MN-61 North. You'll travel through a residential section, and then you'll have a choice between staying on MN-61 or taking the scenic drive. The venue is located just off the scenic drive, but either road can get you there. Don't fret if you accidentally end up taking the one you didn't intend! The scenic drive has a slower speed limit, and is more windy. If you stay on the main highway, be alert for the turn-off! It comes up fast.

Places to Stay
June is the start of the busy summer season on the North Shore. We highly suggest booking hotels and flights early (the ideal is before January!) so you can lock in a good deal. There are so many places to stay on the North Shore at different distances from the venue. Duluth will have the most options for traditional hotel rooms, though Two Harbors (10 minutes away) has a few options as well. Camping at either a campsite or in a cabin is also a great option, and there are many sites to choose from. The wedding venue also has wonderful lodging (see below).

Larsmont Cottages on Lake Superior
We have a block reserved for Friday and Saturday nights for our guests at our wedding venue. The block code that you can use online (there's a group login button at the top of the page) or over the phone is GT060725. Our venue's lodging is in the form of lovely 3-bedroom cottages that can either be sold as separate rooms, each with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen/kitchenette, or you can rent out the entire cottage. Each full cottage can sleep up to 8 (2 people would be on a pull-out bed). There's a discount involved if you book the entire cottage compared to booking the 3 rooms separately. With that in mind, if you'd like to book with a group of guests, let us know and we're happy to help!
