FAQs

The Wedding Website of Christina Gilbert and Sam Taylor
Here's a first stop if you have any questions! If you have any further questions that aren't listed here, please reach out to Christina or Sam.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

January 1st, 2025! The earlier the better.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nah, this is a low-key event, but we'll be dressed up! Note that there is grassy and unpaved areas on the property so you probably shouldn't wear any shoes that could sink into the ground.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Please see your invitation for that information.

Question

Are all the events in the same place? Inside or outside?

Answer

Yes! All events are at Larsmont Cottages in Two Harbors either at their main lodge or just behind it. The ceremony will be outside, weather pending. The reception will be mostly inside, but there will be options for wandering between the indoor dining room and the outdoor patio/green space.

Question

What's the parking situation at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking by the main lodge (either pavement or gravel lots) for our guests!

Question

What's the weather like?

Answer

Summer comes late to the North Shore, and the breeze off the lake helps to keep it from being too hot. It will probably be in the high 60s to low 70s during the day and in the 50s at night. Layers will be key! Rain can come and go quickly, so keep an eye on your favorite weather app's radar.

Question

I want to explore the area, when is there free time?

Answer

If you arrive on Friday, during the day on Saturday leading up to the ceremony, and in the afternoon on Sunday are going to be your best bets if you're staying for the whole weekend. There's so much to see and explore, so we highly recommend getting out there!
