Long before it appeared in Condé Nast Traveller, we were already in love with the beautiful island of Lesvos. Explore the article to see a glimpse of the place that stole our hearts and where we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Molyvos is a hilltop village perched between the sea and a medieval castle, with traditional stone homes and narrow, wisteria-lined streets that climb up the hillside. It’s the island’s main tourist hub, offering incredible views, lively shops, and excellent tavernas. Just 6 km north of Petra, it’s a must-visit for a meal and a bit of shopping during your stay.
Below are some of our favorite beaches! For more detailed descriptions, photos, and additional beach recommendations, you can explore the full website linked here. Tarti – A small, pebbled beach with crystal-clear water, best enjoyed early before the crowds arrive. You can swim out to a small island offshore for a jump into the sea. Skala Eressos – A hippie-chic beach town with painted wooden piers, soft dark sand, and a welcoming community vibe. Plomari – A white-pebble beach town on the southern coast, known as the ouzo capital of Greece—relax by the sea and enjoy the island’s famous spirit. Vatera – The island’s longest beach, with endless sand, calm waters, family-friendly tavernas, and plenty of space to spread out. Petra – A popular tourist beach destination near several of the recommended hotels and conveniently on the way to Molyvos. Anaxos – Just a few minutes from Petra, this organized beach offers sand, umbrellas, cafes, and an easy spot for a swim and relaxation.
