FAQs

The Wedding Website of Joseph Witts and Lindsay Christie
Answered below are some questions that you may have. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact one of us!
Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Our venue does not have parking available for guests. We will be offering shuttle services for our wedding day! Please refer to the Hotels & Shuttle page for more details.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track and within capacity restrictions, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on the invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We will be having an adults-only wedding and reception. The only children invited are those who are part of our immediate family and have been notified at this time. We thank you in advance for your understanding!!!

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are requesting a unplugged/technology-free ceremony and first dance. We have hired professional photographers and a videographer to capture the ceremony and first dance - we would prefer our guests to be fully present with us! Thank you!

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

The delicious kind! There will be a farm-to-table served buffet with food right from the farm! We will be offering appetizers, a couple of main dishes, several side dishes, and of course dessert! If you have a food allergy or restriction, please let us know ahead of time on your RSVP so we can work with the caterer to make sure we have a dish available for you.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Heels are not recommended for ladies due to the outdoor terrain. Lindsay has broken a foot at a wedding because of wearing heels before - it's not fun! Most importantly, make sure your outfit is suitable for dancing!
