Olivia Brochu

Maid of Honor

I met Norah when we were both around three years old in a ballet class at Dance Works Academy in Upton, Massachusetts. Very soon after meeting we were already getting in trouble with the dance teacher for gabbing too loud!! While we had to stay late at dance class detention (was that really a thing???) our mom’s were realizing that they were classmates at Northbridge High School years before. Because we were so young when we met, I don’t really have a specific memory of how exactly we became friends- I just simply know that for as long as I can remember, Norah has been my best friend. Since that dance class 25 years ago (!!!), we have gotten into so much more trouble and shenanigans!! I am so lucky that I’ve gotten to go through the majority of my life with Norah by my side.

Norah and I met when I was just a baby and Norah was two years old. Our mothers are first cousins. We've been attached ever since. We consider each other best friends and are forever each other’s biggest fans! Being her bridesmaid is the biggest honor and a dream we've been talking about since we were little girls!

I met Norah in 9th grade biology class when I watched her brave New England elements without a winter coat, excel at science when she probably would rather have been on stage, and even befriend the weird tall redhead from Texas aka me. Little did we know, this was just the beginning of endless adventures, including an amazing senior year rooming together in “Chateau 33.” When we scattered for college, we vowed to do our best to see each other regularly and that promise has resulted in continued fun together. I could not be happier that we now live in the same part of the world AND to see what a wonderful partnership Christian and Norah have together and how amazing Seymour, the cutest dog ever, is.

Norah and I met freshman year at NYU in the random roommate matchup of a lifetime! We hit it off instantly thanks to some mutually beloved touchstones: The Way We Were, Little Women, and Moulin Rouge. I feel so lucky to have learned to live in New York with Norah by my side, spending all four years of school as roommates in high rises, bunk beds, and a Brooklyn party pad. With a shared tendency to romanticize, we embarked on adulthood arm in arm wistfully donning rose-colored glasses. I’d like to think those glasses were on the night we hit a local bar after the movies and met Christian. It has been the truest joy watching their la vie en rose unfold and I’m so honored to be standing by Norah’s side on this beautiful day.

Norah and I met one fateful day of NYU orientation and have been friends ever since! From adventurous galivants in Brooklyn, to dorm room dinner parties, and endless laughs in our post grad apartment; there's truly never been a dull moment. While we both no longer live in New York, when we do reunite it's only a matter of minutes before we're those same girls giggling away. I feel so honored to have watched Norah find true love with Christian and I can't wait to stand by her side while they say I do!

Bridesmaid

I met Norah during our freshman orientation at NYU. I could tell immediately Norah was confident, clever, and effervescent. Throughout our time at NYU, teachers (and students) often confused us for each other and I always found that to be a compliment. Over the course of our friendship we’ve shared a lot of laughter, secrets, and ill conceived schemes. I can always count on Norah to support wild and impromptu plans then wake up the next morning have a productive day. It has been a great friendship and I’m so happy someone I deeply admire and love has found an incredible partner like Christian. He has been a welcome part of our friendship and someone I can’t wait to share new memories with. All the love, health, and laughter to Christian and Norah.

Bridesmaid

Norah and I met on the first day of college at NYU Tisch. I can’t remember how or why, but we were friends immediately. We had so much fun together, we even lived together for three years after graduation! Though we now live in different countries, we still speak all the time and keep each other updated on our latest antics. Norah is by and far one of the most important people in my life and I can’t wait to celebrate her and Christian on their wedding day (and forever)!

Christina Gregory

Bridesmaid

Norah and I met during our first few weeks at NYU! After our first time hanging out together, I remember telling my parents, “I just met this girl, Norah, and I think we’re going to be best friends”. I’m so happy I was right! From adventures around New York City, to a last minute trip to Barcelona, and lovely getaways visiting up to Portland — I feel so lucky to have gone through these past 10 years with Norah by my side! It’s often said, “When you know, you know”, and I can say that from my first conversation with Norah about Christian — she knew. I couldn’t be happier that they have found one another and I’m so looking forward to celebrating their love!

Josh Didriksen

Best Man

I'm Christian's older brother. I've known Christian since I was 5 years old. I represent an introverted and sarcastic yin to Chris's more outgoing and charismatic yang. While occasionally at odds over the years the fact remains that we two brothers really love each other.

Chris and I met in our early days of toddlerhood. He was the first friend I ever made and we have had each other backs ever since. We knew that day in kindergarten that we would be life long friends and here we are to tell that same tale. Love you brother

Colton Fergus

Groomsman

I can’t remember exactly how we met, but I believe it was either rec basketball when Christian and Joey’s dad were the coach or the Indians little league team! Regardless, I'm thankful for all of our good times growing up and excited to be there for another milestone.

Groomsman

Chris and I first bonded over the 6lb bag of Costco pretzels in Mrs. Olsen’s 2nd grade class. From playing Little League on the Giants and All-Stars to shredding on the pond and in the hockey rink, a childhood teammate and sleepover buddy somehow managed to stick around as a lifelong friend.
