This artisan tea shop rests on a beautiful wooded lot with quiet scenery and crunchy vibes. Their tea blends and other drinks use seasonal leaves, flavors, and spices from local Alabama farms. Piper & Leaf is Gabby's favorite drink spot in the whole world (sorry Fusion).

Monte Sano State Park is located near Huntsville in northeast Alabama. In Spanish, Monte Sano means “Mountain of Health.” In the late 1800s, visitors from across the United States came for “the season” to experience and enjoy Monte Sano’s fresh air, spectacular views, and mineral springs. The park includes a large playground, plenty of hiking trails, and a picnic area with a great mountain view! Please note there is a $5.00 entry fee for ages 12+ and a $2.00 fee for children ages 4-11.
This park, which is atop Green Mountain in southeast Huntsville, encompasses Sky Lake. Enjoy views of the lake on the 1.5 mile walking trail that includes a pavilion, chapel, outdoor classroom, picnic area, and covered bridge.
Shop at the nation's only retailer of unclaimed luggage! If travel luggage remains unclaimed for 3-4 months, transportation companies sell it to this shop in Scottsboro. It's basically a thrift store, but with the added thrill of wondering why travelers left their luggage to such a fate.
