Manassas National Battlefield Park
For our outdoorsy guests there is plenty to admire at the Manassas Battlefieds. Enjoy the sprawling Virginia landscape while visiting some historic landmarks.
Manassas Museum
Stop in at the Manassas Museum and learn about some of the most consequential battles fought during the civil war.
Peterson's Ice Cream Depot LLC
We know Peterson's is a little far from our locations but it is the best ice cream you will every have. Christian and I have gone to Peterson's every summer for the past 9 years and it has been the sight of many post hike dates for us.
Crossroads Tabletop Tavern
What's more fun than a night out? How about a night out with the option to play over 1,000 different games? This is another sight of many date nights for us, we've spent hours trying out multiple games over dinner and highly recommend Crossroads to everyone.
Autobahn Indoor Speedway & Events - Manassas, VA
Areeje, being the driving enthusiast that she is, loves going to the Autobahn. She rarely wins a race (what she lacks in skill she makes up for in sheer enjoyment) but wants to invite her guests to try a couple of laps around the track. Christian, being the outdoorsman, strongly suggests the axe throwing also located at the Autobahn. He loves to chuck a few axes around every now and again and says there's nothing quite like it. He recommends people try it at least once.
Laser Tag Manassas
We love to play laser tag on rainy days when we can't stay outside. It's pure fun to step into a neon room and run around the dark doing your best to get the other team. We definitely recommend it.
Hemlock Overlook Regional Park
Remember those hiking dates I mentioned that would end at Peterson's? This is typically where we hike first. It's part of the Bull Run trail which is 18 miles in total length. It is one of our favorite places to hike and has been since we first started dating at 16. It's also right next door to Paradise Springs Winery if you'd rather conclude your hike with some local Virginia wines.
SplashDown Waterpark
A small water park located in Manassas, since our wedding is in the middle of the beautiful Virginia summer it's not a bad place to go!
