FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal. Think a button up and slacks for gentlemen and dresses for the ladies. Please remember Virginia in the summer is hot so we don't want anyone suffering from heat stroke. We will be indoors (climate control) for both the wedding ceremony and the reception but will have full access to the venue grounds. Seating will be available the whole time so ladies will be comfortable in heels.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! Christian and I love children and believe a wedding is a celebration that should include the whole family. Just be sure to mark them on the RSVP.

Question

Are the wedding and reception in two separate locations?

Answer

Yes! The wedding ceremony is located at All Saints Catholic Church and the reception is located at Bristow Manor Golf Club. They are roughly 15 minutes away from each other. The addresses can be found on the schedule page.

Question

Will there be parking?

Answer

Yes, both the church and venue will have plenty of free parking for everyone.

Question

What can we expect the wedding to look like?

Answer

Christian and I want to include tradition's from both our families. Our wedding ceremony will be a traditional catholic ceremony located in a catholic church.

Question

What can we expect the reception to look like?

Answer

Once guests arrive at location, there will be a cocktail hour from 4 to 5. After all our guests have arrive at the reception location, there will be a couples entrance. This entrance will include traditional middle eastern drummers and dancers. There will also be a small preformance.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes, we will have a full buffet style dinner, drinks available the entire time, and a cash bar available for guests from 4:00pm to 10:00pm.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We look forward to seeing all the pictures and videos.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

We will miss you there! We completely understand that a good number of our family and friends have very busy lives and obligations. Please let us know by RSVP here on our site or sending us an email at Areejeayya@gmail.com.

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Please contact either me or Christian via email or text. Our emails are Areejeayya@gmail.com and Christian.sowalla@hotmail.com.
