Passport information and expiration?

If you don’t have a passport, please allow at least 3-4 months to obtain one. Processing times can vary; sometimes it can be quick, but other times it may take longer. If you already have a passport, please ensure it expires after March 2027. The six-month passport rule states that your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date for international travel.

What is the closest airport?

Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is the closest airport to Lake Como. The easiest way to travel from Milan to Lake Como is by train, which takes about 45 minutes and costs around $5 for a one-way ticket. Lake Como is also accessible by car.

What is the dress code for the event?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us. We are requesting a formal dress code for the evening. This means, for the men, suits or tuxedos with a tie or bow tie; for the women, mid to floor-length gowns. Please keep in mind that the wedding is in August and it may be hot. Welcome Event: Cocktail attire requested.

Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate those who have been formally invited. If a plus-one is included, it will be noted on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!

What time will the ceremony begin?

Answer

The event is scheduled to begin promptly at 5 PM. To ensure everything runs smoothly and to give yourself time to settle in, please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early, if possible.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. While the reception and cocktail hour will have covered areas, some portions of the space feature grass. Please keep this in mind when selecting footwear, especially if you plan to wear heels.
