Shinkansen / Kintetsu Railway

Ise is in central Japan, a few hours away from Tokyo and/or Kyoto & Osaka by Shinkansen (bullet train). If you are coming from Tokyo, you can take Shinkansen to Nagoya Station. From there, you can take a local train (Kintetsu Railway) from Kintetsu Nagoya Station to Ise-Shi Station, which brings you to right in front of the entry way to Geku. The total travel time from Tokyo > Nagoya > Ise is approximately 3 hours on the train (excluding transfer time), so please plan accordingly. If you are coming from Kyoto or Osaka, you can take a local train (Kintetsu Railway) directly to Iseshi Station. For those unfamiliar with Japan's transportation system, Google Maps will be a reliable guide!
