If we're being honest, there is not a ton to do around the Lapeer or Almont area, and while there may be many hidden gems, we really haven't had the time to find many of them. Both downtowns have some fun shops, and there are a few parks and coffee shops you can check out!

This park is right across from the church, and weather dependent, could be a nice place for a stroll between the events.

Rowden Park

A cute little cider mill a short drive from the church.

Past Tense

A cute little spot to stop in for some coffee if you want to go more local than the Lapeer Starbucks.

The Doghouse Coffee

A wonderful all-organic coffee shop located near the venue, just note they close at 3 so you would need to head straight there after the ceremony

Good Grounds Coffee Company

This park is off the highway between the two venues and has a decent walking trail, depending on what level of fancy attire you have chosen for the day.
