TRANSPORTATION
Ace Hotel Chicago is approximately a 9 minute drive or 25-30 minutes by public transportation. Refer to the information below to prepare your transportation options accordingly. PLEASE NOTE the Thanksgiving holiday will affect transportation in the city. We recommend you to understand your transportation options to prepare for the wedding day and your departure from Chicago.

Personal/rented vehicle
Our venue, Ovation Chicago, has a gated parking lot with 20 spaces and free street parking in the area. If you are not familiar with parking in Chicago, there are apps you can download to find further free parking spaces or paid parking as a last resort. These apps are: BestParking, Parker, SpotHero, and ParkWhiz. Please pay attention to any “no parking signs” around the venue.
Rental Car
Uber/Lyft
Uber and Lyft are recommended options if you do not have a designated driver or if you arrived to the venue via CTA and do not wish to return to the hotel via CTA. If you are not familiar, these are apps you can download on your phone that provide a taxi-like transportation service. Please note that Thanksgiving may contribute to increased cost and/or driver availability. *please have a mask with you*
Train
CTA (aka “the L”)
To take the CTA, guests will need a Ventra Card. The Ventura card is $5 and can be purchased at any stop. [DIRECTIONS] To travel from Ace Hotel Chicago to Ovation Chicago, guests must walk 3 minutes to the MORGAN stop and board the Green Line train. In 2 stops, guests must get off at the CALIFORNIA stop. From the CALIFORNIA stop, walk along N California Ave towards W Fulton St (you will need to pass under the train bridge to go in the correct direction). Turn right on W Fulton St and walk along this street until you see Ovation Chicago. Please note that guests will briefly walk across Metra tracks on the way to the venue.
