Flight
Kiawah Island is 33 miles from the Charleston airport and is about a 45 minute drive. The second half of the drive to Kiawah is beautiful if you arrive while it is light out! Lots of live oak trees and Spanish moss.
Rental Car
We would highly recommend renting a car as Uber/Lyft are not available on the island itself. If you prefer to not rent a car, usually there is no issue using a ride-hailing app to get from the airport out to the island. You can call the resort to book a car service to take you to the airport following your stay.
Travel Note
Once on the island, guests have access to the complimentary Kiawah Island shuttles if staying at the resort (rentals or the Sanctuary), which can take you to and from any location on the island (golf, tennis, pool, restaurants). please call 888-601-4904 ext. 82900 to book. Additionally, you can go to Freshfields or Bohicket Marina for $15 round trip. The shuttle will pick you up within 10-15 minutes of your call.

House Or Rental
Reservations may be arranged by calling 866-763-5056. Please reference the group Tesoro / Hull Villa Resort Wedding Room Block, or the group booking number of 19203 when calling. Contracted villas will not appear on online searches so be sure to call and leave a voicemail if no one answers. We have a room block for one-bedroom villas around the island at a discounted rate of $129 per night. Group rates will be available two days before and after the event dates, based on availability. Think of this option as your simplest and most cost effective option - we highly recommend. If you would like to book alternate accommodations through the resort, you will receive a 10% discount when referencing the group name. Kiawah Resort offers additional 2 and 3 bedroom villas and private home rentals. Great option for larger groups planning to stay together. By booking directly through the resort, you will receive discounted accommodations, discounted rounds of golf, and complimentary shuttle access as noted. Deadline for making reservations is Wednesday, February 1st, 2023, or until the room block is fully committed.
Hotel
Guests of the wedding can receive a 10% discount at the Sanctuary Hotel. The Sanctuary is a 5-star hotel on the island and starts at $690 per night with a two night minimum. Hotel
The Andell Inn is a Marriott property hotel located in Freshfields Village and starts at $429 per night. Freshfields offers many shops and restaurants. It is also walking distance from our after party.
House Or Rental
Other villas and houses can be booked through third party vendors such as Pam Harrington Exclusives, Sweetgrass, and Akers Ellis. If booking through a third party you will not have access to the complimentary shuttles and some of the resort amenities or discounts.
