Rosie is so excited for you to come celebrate with her! Paonia is a small rural town. There are no large hotels in the area. Some local options for lodging are listed below. Note the first option, camping at Big B's, is right at our wedding venue. Check out Airbnb, VRBO, and Hipcamp options too. We recommend booking as soon as possible as there are limited options locally. While our venue is technically in Hotchkiss, it is actually closer to Paonia. We recommend booking your lodging in Paonia if possible. This will keep you closer to the fun (less driving on the highway) as well as let us share the town we call home.

Local Airports & Rental Cars

You've got a few options for regional airports: Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) - this is the closest airport to Paonia, ~1 hr 15 min easy highway drive. Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) - just a bit farther from Paonia, ~ 1 hr 30 min easy highway drive. Aspen/Pitkin County Airpot (ASE) - a smaller airport, around 2 hr drive from Paonia (beautiful mountain pass driving). Occasionally flights are cheaper to ASE than the other regional airports. Denver International Airport (DEN) - if you want cheap flights and don't mind driving 4.5 hr to get to Paonia, fly into DEN. There is no local public transportation. You will likely need a rental car while you are here.
