FAQs

If you have any other questions don't be a stranger
Question

Do we need to have a car?

Answer

I would highly suggest getting a rental car, or going in on a rental car with friends/family as there is so much greatness to explore! We hope you make a vacation out of the weekend or the week if you wish!

Question

Is there Uber, Lyft, or Taxi?

Answer

There are very limited to possibly no options for Uber, Lyft, and Taxi's in the area. You may get lucky but it is something I would not depend on. We will provide transportation to and from the wedding to a location in Downtown Hood River. Rental cars/car pooling with family and friends is highly suggested!

Question

Where is the bride and groom staying?

Answer

The bride and groom have separate AirBNB's located right in Downtown Hood River.

Question

When should I reserve a place to stay?

Answer

I would get a hotel room, or rental as soon as possible! It is a very popular place in the summertime. Feel free to reach out if you need help choosing.

Question

I found a place on the Washington state side, what do I need to know?

Answer

Guests traveling to Washington via Interstate 84/Hood River should be advised of the tolls on the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge. Each crossing is $2.00 for passenger cars and $1.00 for motorcycles. Bicycles and pedestrians are prohibited from crossing the bridge. If you would prefer to avoid this fee, access via highway 14 on the Washington side of the river is free of charge. The I-5 and I-205 bridges are free of charge. If the toll is not a big deal to you, it is a great option, and is still very close to downtown Hood River.
