How do I RSVP?

What will the weather be like at this time of year?

Answer

In April, Wānaka is known for its sunny days, clear skies, and cooler nights. The average daytime temperature in autumn is 17–21°C (62–70°F), but it can feel cooler in the mornings and evenings. It will cool off, so bring a warm jacket or a coat!

Will there be transport provided to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! The buses will leave from Wanaka township and make several stops on the way to the venue. You are welcome to get on at any of the stops. Transport to and from the venue is provided. Please see below for the bus route, and the time the bus will depart each stop. You are welcome to get on at any of the stops. Stop 1 - 1.45pm Apartments on Upton, 181 Upton Street, Wānaka 9305. Stop 2 - 2.00pm Lakefront Bus Stop, 100 Ardmore Street Stop 3 - 2:03pm 148 Beacon Point Road Stop 4 - 2.05pm 218 Aubrey Road Stop 5 - 2.08pm 504 Aubrey Road (somewhere close by where the bus can stop) Stop 6 - 2.10pm 764 Aubrey Road (corner of Joe Brown Drive and Aubrey Road) Stop 7 - 2.12pm 161-177 Alison Ave Stop 8 - Lookout Lodge Wedding Venue Reminders  - Please arrive early for the bus! The bus will not wait.  - The bus is not able to stop if people wave them down, therefore please be at one of these locations.  - The buses at the end of the night both depart shortly after the band finishes at 11.30pm - There is limited parking at the venue, and an overflow carpark a few mins walk down the driveway should you need.

Yes, there is parking at the venue. There are limited spaces so we encourage you to use the bus if you can

Can my kids attend?

Answer

We have decided to keep our wedding adults only. If you need help finding a sitter in the area, let us know and we can help. For events the day before and after the wedding, your little one's are welcome to join. For any breast-feeding mama's or otherwise that need a quiet private space at the wedding, there will be a private room you can access on the ground floor of the venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal, black-tie optional. Bring dancing shoes to dance the night away! The ceremony will be held on the lawn of the venue.
