We’re asking for your help to ensure everyone’s comfort. Please note that our wedding venue is both indoor (reception, dinner/dancing) and outdoor (ceremony and happy hour). The large indoor room where we will host our reception does not have enough space for social distancing, but we will have all the windows and doors open and you can head out to the patio whenever you want. In addition to being vaccinated and boosted, we are also requesting all guests: Take a negative COVID test on the day of our wedding. Snap a photo of the negative test on your phone to be checked as you enter the ceremony space. If you're joining us for more than just the day of the wedding, please test prior to each event you will be attending. Photos of negative tests will be checked at the start of each event. For those traveling, please test before and after travel and consider wearing a KN95 or N95 mask on the plane. If you are experiencing symptoms (fever, sore throat, cough, unusual fatigue) or otherwise test positive—in the interest of your own health and the health and safety of others—please decide not to attend, and let us know. We would be sad, but also immensely grateful. You can now grab free tests here (https://special.usps.com/testkits) or sign up for free on-site rapid PCR tests in Berkeley ( when the dates of our wedding week become available here: https://book.curative.com/sites/34354. (If you can swing a PCR test, we highly recommend it as it's more reliable than rapid at-home tests.) Your commitment to this process is one of the biggest gifts you can give us, so thank you so much in advance!
We sent a survey on May 31st about transportation to and from our wedding. If you filled out the survey requesting a ride, then you are all set! Please head to one of the two designated pick up areas by 3pm on the date of our wedding. For more information about these locations, please go to the "Logistics" section of our website. If you did not fill out the survey, or marked that you do not need a ride, then you do not have a confirmed seat on the shuttle, and you will be responsible for making your way there on your own. On-site parking is limited. Ubers/Lyfts should be a good alternative, though we cannot guarantee cell phone reception at the venue.
We love your kids, but the venue doesn't have enough space to accommodate them on our wedding day. Kiddos are more than welcome to our pre- and post-wedding activities, including two walks and a picnic brunch in the park!
All of our wedding activities will take place in/around North Berkeley. For ease, we recommend staying as close by as you can. Check out the Logistics section for more information.
We ask for your food preferences on our wedding-day RSVP card. These preferences will be honored by our caterers. If you want to speak to us directly about a concern you have, or you forgot to mention something on the card, reach out to Alix at alix.joslyn1@gmail.com or (404) 754-4671, and she'll be sure our family-style meal accommodates your needs.
Cocktail attire - but whatever you choose to wear, make sure its comfortable enough for you to dance the night away with us!
We have two walks on Monday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 14 to kick off our wedding week. We hope you'll join us for one or both! The wedding itself begins at 4pm on Wednesday, June 15th and will end around 11pm. If you'd like to hang out for a while after, we will head over to Acme Bar down the street until it closes. For more information about this, and other activities surrounding the day, please visit the Schedule page.
