Welcome Walk Along the Shore

Good walking shoes, layers in case it's chilly, and a water bottle if you tend to get thirsty!
Join Chris and Alix at 10am for an hour-long stroll along the water at the Albany Bulb. The walk is a loop with options and mild elevations. If walking's not your thing, grab a coffee or breakfast/lunch somewhere delicious (we've got a few favorites in the "Things To Do" section), and meet us at 11am to enjoy the views and say hello! We'll meet by the bathrooms next to the parking lot at 10am to start our walk, and again at 11am to say hi to those coming later. Uber or Lyft is recommended as the parking lot can get full pretty quickly. Call Alix at (404) 754-4671 if you can't find us, or have questions day-of! *As you schedule your morning, please note that we'll be leaving the area around 12pm.

Welcome Hike in the Woods

Good trail shoes (hiking boots recommended), layers in case it's chilly, and a water bottle if you tend to get thirsty!
Join Chris and Alix at 10am for an hour-long hike in Tilden Regional Park—the same park where they will get married the following day! We recommend that you join us for this hike only if you're comfortable on trails (it won't be difficult but be prepared for a moderate amount of exercise). If hiking's not your thing, there are some beautiful spots in the Nature Area to relax with a book, breakfast, or a coffee (see our favorite places in the "Things to Do" section) before we all meet up again at 11am for hugs and hellos! We'll meet you by the playground across from the main parking lot at 10am to start our walk, and again at 11am for those coming later. You should be OK to find parking at this time, but Uber or Lyft is a great option if you don't want to deal with chancing it. Ceremony

The ceremony will be outdoors in Tilden Regional Park. The weather will likely be quite warm, so be sure to bring a hat or sunglasses. An additional layer might be handy for later in the evening if you want to be outside and enjoy the patio!
Happy Hour + Reception

Join us directly after the ceremony for a happy hour with appetizers, lawn games, and our friend's bluegrass band, followed by a reception with dinner and dancing all night to one of our favorite DJs!

Picnic Brunch at Strawberry Creek Park & The Hidden Cafe

If you're still in the area, join us for coffees, pastries and quiche at The Hidden Cafe in Strawberry Creek Park before we hit the road for our honeymoon. Street parking is normally available, but we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft. Please note, and as mentioned above: The Hidden Cafe is located within Strawberry Creek Park and should be easy to find if you go to the address listed above. If you cannot find the cafe, call Alix's mom Susan at (404) 702-7647, and she'll help you find it. If necessary, a rain plan will be communicated with guests via email.
