Randy Hill
Father of the Bride
Randy was born and raised in Orlando, FL and graduated from the University of Central Florida where he was a Sigma Chi. Jackie and Randy met in 1986 and are celebrating 37 years of marriage in September 2024. Jackie and Randy live in Gallatin, TN, just 35 minutes from Kayla and Jenna's homes. He recently retired from a successful 39-year career at Lockheed Martin. After this wedding, he's looking forward to some time to work on his golf game (maybe even join an amateur Senior tournament), working on home improvement projects in his house and the girl's houses and traveling with Jackie.
Jackie Hill
Mother of the Bride
Jackie grew up in Orlando, FL after being born on Guam, living in Japan and Brooklyn, NY for her dad's job with the Navy Exchange. She graduated from Florida State University where she was a Kappa Delta. She has worked in various jobs over the years from teaching high school to the mortgage industry to help support her family. She is very creative and helped Kayla design/plan this wedding! Now that Randy is retired, she's looking forward to continued travel and celebrating life together with their dog Stella in their Gallatin, TN home.
Ken Clark
Father of the Groom
Ken was born in upstate New York and spent his early childhood years there before moving to Daphne, AL when he was eleven. Ken remained in the South Alabama area and met Carla on a blind date. They were set up by Ken's mother, as Carla was her dental hygienist. They both joke their first date didn't go well, but they celebrated 41 years of marriage this year. Ken has owned and operated his own lawncare and landscape business for over 17 years. While he supported Paul's athletic achievements, Ken always preached how important education is to Paul, which led to Paul being the first person in his family to graduate from college. Ken’s fondest memories are spending time watching Paul play baseball at the ball park. Ken and Carla are building a house and moving to White House, TN in August of 2024 so they can be closer to Kayla and Paul and their "grandbaby," Lucy.
Carla Clark
Mother of the Groom
Carla was born in Atlanta, Georgia but spent her early childhood in Miami, FL. Her parents met working for Bell South (now AT&T) for over 35 years. When Carla was 11 years old, her father, who Paul is named after, got a promotion that relocated the family to South Alabama. Carla was an only child growing up, like Paul, so the two of them always bonded over life as an only child. She is Paul's biggest fan and made sure he was well-rounded by keeping his priorities straight between his many sporting accolades and school. Carla spent endless hours as a home room mom at Paul's school and never missed being involved with Paul’s school or baseball activities. Carla has worked for Walmart for over 17 years and is approaching retirement. She is very excited to move up to White House, TN with Ken so she can be closer to Paul and Kayla.
Jenna Hill
Maid of Honor
Jenna is Kayla's younger sister and lives in Nashville. Jenna is a nurse practitioner, recently graduating with her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama. Prior to this milestone, she graduated from Florida State University and Belmont University where she obtained two bachelors degrees. We were all blessed that Jenna and Kayla were able to buy houses next to each other so that Jenna's fur baby, Tria, and Paul and Kayla's dog, Lucy, share a back yard! Jenna is Kayla's best friend, partner in crime and sister (x2- they're both Kappa Delta's) and we are so lucky to have her as Kayla's Maid of Honor.
Brittany Danna

Brittany and Kayla met when they were three when their mothers met through a mutual friend at the park. Along with taking family vacations together, they both danced at the same studio competitively on and off as children. In high school, their friendship grew even stronger as they both joined the dance team and the yearbook staff. Brittany and Kayla's families have been through it all together and supported each other through all of life's ups and downs. Brittany graduated from the University of Central Florida and anytime that Kayla came home from Tallahassee during college, you were sure to find Britt and Kayla together again. Kayla would not be the person she is today without Brittany's friendship and the Danna's love. Brittany lives in Orlando, FL with her boyfriend Brian and her goldendoodle, Reagan.
Kathryn Litten

Kathryn and Kayla met in pharmacy school in 2013 at Belmont University where they became fast friends over their mutual love of spontaneity for all things music and adventure. They joined the same pharmaceutical fraternity and flung themselves into grad school life joining many different professional organizations together. After four years of long, late nights of studying, the two "last minute concert buddies" went backpacking for 2 weeks in the United Kingdom and Amsterdam. Even though she wears Tarheel Blue, Kayla wouldn't have survived pharmacy school without her. Kathryn pursued two years of post-graduate study and ended up finding her dream job as an Ambulatory Care Pharmacist and Associate Professor at the University of Texas in Austin. Kayla tries to convince her to move back to Nashville any chance she gets, but Kathryn happily resides in Austin with her boyfriend Alex and her pug, Perry.
Adrianna (Bayliss) Estep

Adrianna and Kayla met at FSU when they joined the same sorority, Kappa Delta. Adrianna grew up dancing also, so obviously they became best friends. Their friendship grew as they navigated life together in Tallahassee. Since Kayla was on dance team her first year at FSU, Adrianna was the one who caught her up sophomore year on all that she had missed as a freshman and helped Kayla transition into post dance team life. Post-grad as they both pursued graduate degrees (Adrianna received her Masters of Education from FSU) and found themselves in new cities, they remained close and visited each other whenever they could. Adrianna and her husband Joe (also an FSU grad) have lived in multiple places as Joe serves our country in the Air Force. Kayla visits them anywhere they end up and was so honored to be named, their daughter, Emilia's godmother. Currently they are in Charleston, SC and Kayla and Paul look forward to visiting them in San Antonio, TX, their next reassignment starting in August 2024.
Samantha Cleveland

Sam and Kayla met at FSU when they both joined Kappa Delta. The only two Exercise Science majors in their class, they endured many late nights at the library and in the KD kitchen together. Both seeking healthcare careers, Sam as a MD and Kayla as a PharmD, navigating college together meant justifying late nights out and early morning Anatomy exams while trying to figure out how to balance their personal lives and if any of their career dreams were worth it. They were-Sam was recently named as Chief Resident at Broward Health and is pursuing a fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology next year and Kayla is so proud of her! Bailey, Sam and Kayla shared a three-girl room in the Sorority house their Senior year, cementing their forever bond- not only did they share a space that small and not kill each other, Bailey and Sam dealt with Kayla's ridiculous amount of shoes and still love her. While their careers keep them both busy, Sam and Kayla know that support is just a text or call away-the type of friends that pick up right where they left off each and every time they talk. Sam lives in Fort Lauderdale with her dog Ridley.
Bailey (Gilmore) Johanson

Bailey also went to FSU and joined Kappa Delta. With her thick Alabama accent and impeccable taste, Bailey is a class act. Kayla knew that anyone who could use the phrase "Bless your heart," like Bailey does, just had to be her best friend. Kayla and Bailey became close when Kayla sublet a room in Bailey's apartment one summer. Sam, Bailey and Kayla spent many wine nights watching Pretty Little Liars and bonding over juggling part time jobs, summer courses and parties. Senior year, the trio decided to live together again in the three-girl bedroom in the KD house, which cemented their lifelong friendship. No one lives in that tight of quarters without killing each other unless they're destined to remain close. Kayla admires the strength that Bailey has as she has gracefully navigated all that life has thrown at her while also landing an impressive role in the recruitment industry while cheering on her husband Erik (also an FSU grad) as he started his own law practice recently. Bailey and Erik live in Tampa with their beautiful boy Lee and Bailey's 18-year-old miniature poodle Truffles, who Bailey had at FSU with her, and therefore is the group's unofficial mascot.
Molly (Broussard) Bruner

Another Kappa Delta at Florida State (are you sensing a trend yet?), Molly and Kayla were always in the same group but really bonded over their daily runs to the stadium Senior year (past fraternity row, of course...) followed by KD dinner and the FSU bar scene. Be-bopping around town in Molly's yellow Volkswagen Bug with country music blaring, they became close friends over their 4 years together at FSU. Through multiple weddings, bachelorette parties, baby showers, Molly is one of the bravest females in Kayla's life. She lives in Louisiana with her FSU grad husband, Sam, and her three children, Whitt, Lola and Olive and her teacup yorkie, Tuck.
Natalie Clark

Natalie and Kayla were Kappa Delta's together but grew even closer during senior year, as Natalie and her roommates hosted many birthday waltzes and pregames in their townhome. She started a text group (named The KD Ladies-of course) as Adrianna's Maid of Honor in 2012 and to this day, it's where we all go for support, a laugh, or to get our fix of baby pictures from each other. Natalie recently moved outside of Knoxville to continue growing her small business with her fiancé her son Bodhi and Kayla is so excited to have another best friend in TN!
Tom Green
Best Man
Paul met Tom at Florida State University. Paul jokes that Tom was always his best customer at one of the bars he worked at, Potbelly's, but all jokes aside, he was without a doubt Paul's favorite one. They were roommates in college together for two years and shared a lot of classes as they were both Criminology majors. Both diehard Florida State fans, they have traveled to many FSU football games together including almost every season opener in the last 10 years. Paul moved to Nashville in 2011 and Tom moved to Nashville in 2013 and found themselves as roommates once again in Paul's first home! Tom is always up for an outdoor adventure and hiking and various cabin trips have only cemented their friendship more over the years. Tom has always been there for Paul through life's ups and downs, and they still make it a point to get together during the week for "guys only happy hours," as Tom bought a house less than a mile from Kayla and Paul in West Nashville. Paul is very honored to have him by his side as his Best Man on his wedding day.
Mike Thompson

Paul met "Mikee" at East Point Little League in Seffner, FL when they were ten. They attended the same Middle and High School together and could always be found side by side playing Football, Basketball, and Baseball. They were both selected each year to be on the homecoming court and enjoyed great memories throughout high school. After high school, Mikee received a football scholarship to play for the University of Buffalo and Paul accepted his academic scholarship to attend FSU. The two of them stayed in contact throughout college and Mikee found time to come and visit Paul on the weekends in Tallahassee to escape the cold. Both Mikee and Paul have remained close friends over the years via various golf and fishing trips where they max out their limits on Red Snapper and Grouper. Paul proudly stood by Mikee at his own wedding this February as one of Mikee's groomsmen. Their friendship can be summed up just like their Senior yearbook reads "Mikee and Paul have done it all!" Mikee lives in the Tampa, FL area with his wife, Val and his two sons, Michael and Remy.
Michael Vargas

Paul and "Mike V," as Paul affectionately calls him, met when Paul was still a senior in high school and Mike was rooming with Robert Read, another of Paul's groomsmen. Even though they started as friends of a friend, it didn't take long for them to become great friends in their own right and Paul would often visit Mike when he was in Tampa. Paul has always looked up to Mike V as setting the standard of what a good family man should look like, as he is not only an amazing friend to Paul, but also a great father to his 3 children and a wonderful husband to his wife, Gina. Recently, after many Vargas family visits to Paul's North GA mountain cabin home, Paul and Kayla were so very excited when the Vargas's purchased their own family cabin just down the street from their own. There have already been many walks between the two cabins (but not at night because of the bears...) to share a bourbon around a campfire. They both look forward to Paul and Kayla one day having little ones so the two families can vacation together and continue to make memories.
Danny Granda

Paul and Danny first met at Florida State University at a Sigma Phi Epsilon (Sig Ep) Halloween social where Danny was thinking of pledging. Paul, already a brother, immediately knew he wanted Danny to be his little brother in the fraternity and the rest is history. Paul and Danny were roommates in the Sig Ep house and made some amazing memories at FSU together, including Paul being there when Danny first met his now wife, Jessie. After graduation, Danny moved to south Florida and started his career in technical recruitment at Insight Global. When it came time for Paul to decide on his next move after FSU it was Danny that suggested that Paul consider recruitment instead of law school. Following Danny's advice, Paul interviewed and ultimately accepted a job and began his recruitment career working in the same office as Danny. Paul cherishes the memories they made those years in Ft. Lauderdale and credits Danny for being a major influence in his life and career. Danny and Paul also go on an annual golf trip each year together. They have played some Of the best golf courses in the United States including Pinehurst #2 (US Open) and Whistling straights (Ryder cup) Danny lives in Boynton Beach, FL with his wife Jess and dog Oliver!
Mark Laivins

Paul and Mark met in the Fall of 2004 at Florida State University during fraternity rush. They both were walking around fraternity row checking out different fraternities and realized they both liked Sig Ep. The hardship and bonding of pledging together started their friendship that only grew as they lived in the fraternity house together also. After making some amazing memories together that they still reminisce on, Mark transferred to Ohio State University. After graduation, they have always made it a point to stay connected, Mark visiting Paul in Nashville, and Paul visiting Mark while he was living in Las Vegas and then Boston. Paul has always described Mark at the kind of friend you can depend on and someone who is always game for an adventure! Proven by the most recent adventure, joined by Kayla and Mark's wife, Jen, on a trip to Montana for New Years that included a snowmobile excursion that no one will ever forget! The boys were stoked to land a Blue Fin Tuna last year off the coast of Massachusetts and Kayla and Paul look forward to more trips to visit Mark and Jen at their home in Hull, MA.
