Things To Do

The Gulch

The Gulch

Nashville, TN 37203

Less than a walk from the hotel block and a nice area to get out of the craziness of Broadway if needed! Paul and Kayla work out at Barry’s in the Gulch, so we are in the area often! Reach out if you want to drop in for a class while you’re in town! We recommend LA Jackson for a rooftop happy hour, Marsh House for Gumbo, and the angel wings mural for a classic Nashville picture. This is a very modern upscale neighborhood that is fun to walk!

Broadway/Downtown

Broadway/Downtown

Broadway, Nashville, TN

This one is pretty self-explanatory, pick any honky tonk and you're guaranteed great live music on any floor. Lots to do and see in this area so we broke it down a little! This is for the main street (Broadway) recommendations. We love The Stage (be sure to use the back alley entrance for a shorter wait!), Layla’s (they have their own beer that’s cheap upstairs) Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa (second floor showcases female talent) Chief’s (Eric Church’s bar), Robert’s Western World (gotta get the Recession Special!) and Friends in Low Places (Garth Brook’s bar). For food, there's lots of good options inside Fifth and Broadway, sort of like a food court of all Nashville local eats!! If you REALLY want Hattie B’s chicken, we recommend you go to the one in Midtown or on Charlotte pike for a shorter line.

Printers Alley

Printers Alley

Printers Alley, Nashville, TN

Check out Printer's Alley, where the Nashville printers actually hung out for smoke breaks when this street contained publishing houses. This alleyway has off the beaten path options such as Miss Kelly’s for karaoke, an English Pub and a Daddy’s Dogs location (awesome hot dogs). This is also where one of the cities only clubs is- Dirty Little Secret if that’s more your vibe! It also has Skulls Rainbow Room, opened in the 40’s and many famous musicians have graced its stage including Etta James, Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Waylon Jennings, Joni Mitchell, Jerry Lee Lewis and comedian Andy Griffith. There is a cover at some times so check out their website for more information. We also like Bobby’s garage for an off the path grunge bar.

12 South

12 South

Nashville, TN

Great walkable neighborhood about a 10-minute drive from the hotel block. It has great food and shopping options. We recommend Five Daughters Bakery, Frothy Monkey, Edley's BBQ, and of course the famous "I Believe in Nashville" Sign. On Thursdays Edley's BBQ has 2 for 1 Draft local beers!

Museums
