What to Wear – Ladies Edition 💃☘️
Ladies, here’s what to keep in mind when dressing for the wedding day! We’ll be outdoors, walking to the ceremony site, and experiencing Ireland’s unpredictable weather, so comfort is key. 👟 Ceremony at Uragh Stone Circle There’s a short walk to the ceremony site (about two football fields in length), so please wear sneakers, boots, or other comfortable shoes. You’re welcome to pack a pair of flats or dressier shoes to swap into for the ceremony, but keep in mind that the ceremony area is on grass. Be prepared for Irish weather—it could be windy, rainy, or chilly, so layers and weather-friendly fabrics are a great choice. 📸 Photography Timeline The photographer will be with us throughout the day—capturing getting-ready moments at the house, first looks, the ceremony, family photos, and even pub celebrations! After the ceremony, you’ll have time to go back to the house to change before dinner. The photographer will NOT be at dinner, so no pressure to go over the top—just wear what makes you feel good! 🍽️ Dinner at a Local Restaurant The dinner is at a local restaurant, not a formal ballroom. There’s no need for stilettos or anything too extravagant unless that’s your vibe! You can go as casual or as dressy as you like—wear what you’ve always wanted to wear in Ireland! (…except white 😉) The most important thing? Be comfortable, have fun, and embrace the Irish magic! ✨💚
What to Wear – Men’s Edition 👔☘️
Comfort is key, and there’s no need to overthink it! We’ll be outdoors, walking a bit, and embracing whatever weather Ireland throws at us, so dress in a way that makes you feel good. 👟 Ceremony at Uragh Stone Circle We’ll be walking to the ceremony site (about two football fields in length), so boots or sneakers are best. If you’d like to swap into different shoes for the ceremony, feel free—but it’s not required at all. We genuinely don’t mind! Wear what’s comfortable for you, and keep in mind that we’ll be outside, possibly dealing with rain, wind, or chilly temps—so layering is a good idea. Slacks or khakis with a button-down, sweater, or pullover is perfect. (Pat said to think LL Bean catalog) 📸 Photography Timeline The photographer will be capturing the day from start to pub, including getting ready at the house, first looks, the ceremony, family photos, and our pub meet-up. After the ceremony, you’ll have time to go back to the house and change before heading to the pub and dinner. The photographer will NOT be at dinner, so no pressure to go all out—just wear what feels right. 🍽️ Dinner at a Local Restaurant The dinner spot is casual and local, so no need for a tie or suit jacket—unless you just really love wearing one! We want everyone to enjoy the day without stressing over attire, so keep it simple, be prepared for the weather, and dress however makes you feel good. Looking forward to celebrating with you! 🍻✨
