Getting to Ireland & Traveling to Kenmare ✈️🚗🚆
All flights will arrive in Dublin, Ireland (DUB), and from there, you have a couple of options to make your way to Kenmare, where all the wedding festivities will take place!
Option 1: Rent a Car 🚗
Renting a car is the most flexible way to explore Ireland at your own pace.
The drive from Dublin to Kenmare takes about 4 hours and is a beautiful way to see the Irish countryside.
Keep in mind that in Ireland, they drive on the left side of the road & most rentals are manual transmissions —so if that’s new for you, be prepared to request an automatic!
Option 2: Take a Train 🚆
If you prefer to sit back and relax, you can take a train from Dublin to Killarney (the nearest train station to Kenmare).
The train ride takes about 3.5 hours, and from Killarney, Kenmare is just a 45-minute drive away.
We’re happy to pick you up from the Killarney train station—just let us know your arrival time! There is also a regularly scheduled bus. ☘️
