Travel Note
When driving down towards the water in Mukilteo (if you are coming from the mainland) - stay in the normal lane until you see traffic in the right lane (Ferry line) - In Washington you CAN cross a single solid white line. Follow this until the lane turns right to go through the toll booths. Cost depends on how many passengers and their ages. You then will be instructed to go to a lane to wait to load! Not all lanes make every ferry. Please reach out if you have any questions - and as long as the weather is nice get out of your car and walk around on the ferry! (Jamison always does).
Travel Note
If you are staying more north, or interested in a predictable length trip - you can head north over Deceptions Pass! If you don't just drive over but do stop and park here, there is a $10 day Discovery Pass required. It should be available to purchase (may need cash) in the parking lot. There are a few trails down to the beach, but one was washed out recently (will be signage). This pass also gets you into Fort Casey State Park (right by the venue!)
Flight
If flying into SeaTac, we would recommend landing no later than 6 hours prior to the wedding if possible (shorter may be doable without rental cars, but sometimes taxiing to the gate and pickup can back-up.
Travel Note
While much closer to the ferry (10-15 minute drive), Paine Field in Everett is much smaller and more limited! With only a few flights from San Francisco (SFO), Phoenix (PHX), Las Vegas (LAS), San Diego (SAN), Los Angeles (LAX), Orange County (SNA), and Palm Springs (PSP) and less rental car options. This could be a good option if you are short on time, and have someone local to pick you up on the way!
