Meadowlands Plaza Hotel

A block of rooms is set aside for our guests until July 28. The hotel provides a free shuttle to & from the Secaucus train station 7 am to 11 pm for all guests as well as to local restaurants and the local mall. All guests receive free breakfast per person per nights stay at the onsite restaurant, La Reggia. Transportation will be provided from the hotel to marina for the wedding ceremony & reception and back at the end of the night. Discounts available if you book in advance. The hotel's shuttle to Secaucus station is also your route to NJ Transit giving you access to trains to New York City, Trenton, Philadelphia, as well as Boston, Baltimore, and Washinton D.C. via Amtrak.

Newark Liberty International Airport - EWR

This is the closest airport to the hotel and wedding venue. The Newark airport is the busiest airport in the country! See information below on how to get from the airport to the Secaucus train station. The hotel will send the free shuttle to and from the Secaucus train station between 7am and 11pm to pick you up/drop you off.

Train

NJ Transit or Amtrak

You can take the NJ Transit or Amtrak train to the Newark Airport stop. From there, follow signs toward the train. Take the train north to Secaucus/New York. The Secaucus stop is two stops away! Once at the Secaucus train station go to the taxi waiting area and call the hotel which will send the free shuttle between 7am and 11pm to pick you up there.

Free Shuttle from Meadowlands Plaza Hotel to the Ceremony & Reception

August 28, 2021 3:45 pm - 9:30 pm

The free shuttle will pick up guests at 3:45 pm to take you to the ceremony & reception at the marina, Pier 61 Chelsea Piers. If you do not take the shuttle, you will need to arrange your own transportation to the marina! The hotel is at least 30 minutes drive to the marina. At the end of the night, the shuttle will return guests to the hotel from the marina.

There are many rental car companies at Newark Airport and the surrounding areas if you would like to rent a car for your trip! Please note that parking at the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel is free.

Parking

Please note that parking at Pier 61 Chelsea Piers is at least $55 and parking around the marina is limited and expensive. In addition, to get to New York City you will need to access toll roads and pay entrance tolls. Parking at the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel is free.
