Super close to our venue, and a really fun spot! Live music, food, and drinks if you want them. Feel free to stop by or even gather a group to go after the reception!
This is for you history buffs out there. Feel free to stop by this historic Civil War Battlefield, and look out for the bench dedicated to Connor's grandpa! The bride and groom went stargazing out here on one of their first dates!
Super cute little historic downtown area with shopping and food!
If you like to get out into the great outdoors, or if you want to see where the bride and groom had their first date, Great Falls is a great spot! You can access the park from the Maryland or Virginia side, but we all know the Maryland side is better :)
The bride and groom had many dates here, especially in the COVID days, and it is also where Connor proposed!! It's a super cute retro amusement park that now functions as a space for artists. Check out the events that they have, because you could even go swing dancing here if you'd like!
Another cute and historic spot. Check out restaurants, shops, and the waterfront! If you're looking for delicious Chinese food, the couple recommends Yunnan by Potomac Noodle House!
Another beautiful park, with walking trails around the lake. Also a frequent date spot for the couple early on in their relationship!
Probably the furthest afield (depending on where you are staying) but this is a beautiful local winery with a lovely property and locally grown wines. A favorite spot for the couple to get together with friends!
Any out-of-staters, this is for you! Check out our nation's capital and benefit from the FREE museums and art galleries all around this area.
If you are in Maryland and you are looking for good, authentic Mexican food, check out Cielo Rojo, a favorite of the couple's, located in the cute Takoma Park neighborhood. Enjoy some food and check out some of the other local shops and vendors while you're at it!
Another cute and historic downtown, what do you know? Check out the nearby state park for beautiful views of the Occoquan River, and visit The Secret Garden café for a yummy lunch, or Bann Thai for delicious Thai food!
