On a fateful day in either late April or early May 2020 (it depends who you ask ;)) Allison received a message from a guy named Connor on the dating app, Hinge. The two started communicating regularly, and after a few FaceTime dates, decided to go on an in-person date, which was pretty tricky, given the whole pandemic thing. In the beginning of June of the same year, the two met up to go for a walk on the C&O canal near Great Falls (Maryland side, of course). Despite the fact that Alli forcefully threw a bag of homemade cookies to Connor (she didn't know how close she could get, because you know, social distancing) and Connor bringing up marriage on the first date (!!) the two hit it off, and were an item by late June 2020. In spite of COVID challenges, career questions, and the cross-Potomac distance, they grew in love and respect for one another. Just shy of 3 years after their first date, Connor popped the question to Alli after a scavenger hunt that took her around to some of their favorite places. Alli, of course, said yes! The two are excited to see where the Lord leads them and how he grows them in their marriage, and are so grateful for you all to be a part of their big day!
