Wedding Party

Cheryl Cedillo

Bride

The bride. Legend says that a friend of a friend once remarked that Cheryl resembles Chvrches singer, Lauren Mayberry. Cheryl is a singer-songwriter with a propensity for gardening and baking. She loves Italy, coffee, and cooking things that take a really really long time. Though she only worked at a sheep farm for a week, she still lists "Shepherd" on her resume.

Peter Hanley

Groom

The bridegroom, in 2017 was mistaken for Orlando Bloom at a 2-Chainz concert in New York City. Peter had been given free tickets to the show, and ended up with a priceless complement; he will never stop milking. Peter has hiked the two highest peaks in the lower 48 (Mt. Elbert & Whitney). On the hottest day of the year he hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back out. Additionally, Cheryl convinced Peter to quit his job and hike with her for 40 days & over 500 miles across the entire country of Spain. If you ask Peter while he's sitting, he will tell you he doesn't really like hiking all that much, but rather is too polite to turn down a good invitation. Peter has been an art director, film director, and an executive director all while upholding his place as the baby of the family.

Lisa Cedillo

Maid of Honor

Meet Lisa- a skilled craftswoman, obvious Anne Hathaway lookalike, and Cheryl's very first partner in crime. Together, they have explored the culinary boundaries of combining chocolate and cheese- a memorable accomplishment. They share the same middle name, and were both nearly killed by cows on completely different occasions, which is further proof that their fates are somehow inextricably tied together. While working together in blonde wigs (a story for a different day) they learned that it is better not to tell strangers that they are aunt and niece (far too difficult to explain). They eventually agreed it is better to let people go on thinking they are sisters.

Rogelio (Roge) Maldonaldo

Groomsman

Rogelio (Roge) could easily be mistaken for Johnny Depp as Edward Scissor-hands. At one time he took a casting call and tried out for the part of Air Bud in the film classic Air Bud. Though he doesn't know it yet – he was the inspiration for the weddings' color palette; late one night he got carried away offering to decorate for the reception with items from a personal collection of rusty barrels and buckets that he has been accumulating over the years (like any good collector – he knew they would pay off one day). In September he will have broken the game for the rest of us, as his niece Cheryl and (pending) nephew Peter will welcome their first child as parents; Roge will welcome the child as an early 30's Great Uncle.

Vanessa Lindsley

Bridesmaid

Vanessa is a video-editing, puppy-photographing, comedic genius, and coincidentally also Cheryl's sister. You can try your hardest to win her over with your wit, your charm and your killer dance floor moves, but she is #neverimpressed. Frequently mistaken for Isla Fisher and constantly bombarded by mobs of adoring fans and paparazzi, Vanessa attempts to lead a normal life in the hills of Austin, TX with her dog Marble, who is frequently mistaken for Justin Bieber.

Richard Hanley

Best Man

Richard Hanley, father of the groom. Richard has been riding the coat-tails of the legendary actor Bill Murray for years now. Legend tells of Richard booking a table at a 5-star restaurant impersonating the actor, getting pictures with the staff and guests and then disappearing into the night with a 4 figure bill covered complementary. To this day no one can be sure it wasn't Bill himself. An inventor, entrepreneur and comedic genius Richard will play an important role as father and best man to Peter on the day. Be sure not to miss the best man speech, as it will be a barn burner. Anything could happen!

Katherine Lindsley

Bridesmaid

Katherine is a dancer, acrobat, writer and semi-professional skier after just one visit to the slopes of Sipapu in New Mexico. Though she is probably too cool for the rest of us, she has agreed to attend the wedding in exchange for an autograph from Johnny Depp. Fully dedicated to her role as a sister, Katherine has bravely tried to teach Cheryl to dance on various occasions. Katherine and Cheryl also recently attempted the Chloe Ting Ab challenge together, from which they are still recovering. You can watch Katherine make grown men cry in her role as Anya Taylor Joy playing Beth Harmon in The Queen's Gambit

Joshua Hanley

Groomsman

Meet Joshua (aka Yeshua). The Bridegrooms' brother and best friend, often mistaken for comedian, actor, Zach Galafanakis. He once was introduced to a crowd of people by Richard Hanley with one potent sentence, "My son Josh is really into stuff" (followed by a long pause). This one sentence could not have been more dead on in introducing this brilliant man. He can fix anything (plane, train, automobile), a born handy-man (not to be confused with Peter and Aaron who worked campus maintenance for a summer in college). Peter and Josh grew, fought, loved and became men together. They used to carpool to High School until they got in trouble, and Mom took away driving privileges for a month; they had to ride the bus (not a metaphor). Nice one Mom, and a lesson they won't forget.

Lori Henggeler

Bridesmaid

Lori, who has been mistaken for Reese Witherspoon since birth, is Cheryl's best friend and confidant- they have performed together, worked together, traveled together, cried together, and laughed together since the stage debut of their friendship in "Snow White Goes West," the musical. Their travels in Europe have bonded them for life over the relentless longing for gelato, French pastry and decent public transportation. Together they have climbed mountains and braved sketchy French alley ways at 1 am in search of an alleged "airbnb." Look out for her musical performances at the Ceremony and at the Reception with her Husband Michael.

Michael Henggeler

Groomsman

Michael, is Orlando's... I mean Peter's, most recent best friend, often mistaken for either Taylor Swift or Kit Harington depending on the day. Michael is a truly deep and multi-dimensional person; a warrior, poet, sage. Michael and his talents will be heavily involved in both the ceremony and reception with instrumental violin at the ceremony and a performance alongside his partner Lori during the heart of the reception. Michael will be one to watch!

Victoria Cedillo

Bridesmaid

Victoria is Cheryl's cousin, and a rising culinary star. Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsey has on numerous occasions expressed his jealousy and admiration of her talents. Her banana bread is the stuff of dreams, and rumor has it she is one of the Wedding's esteemed Cake engineers. Her humor, fashion sense and kindness make her a standout at any gathering. Victoria is not convinced that she looks like Pretty Little Liar's star Shay Mitchell, but Vanessa insists that she does.

Drew Dusang

Groomsman

Drew, is Peter's best friend from adulthood. He has been a grounded source of wisdom in the midst of Peter's waffling personality, and continues to talk him off of life's many ledges. No matter where Drew and Peter find themselves in the country they always find their way back to their friendship that began in Denver. Peter "taught" Drew how to snowboard one season; the following season Drew started skiing, and Peter added Drew to the long list of people he had "taught" to snowboard. Coincidentally Drew joins the group as another Texan wintering in Michigan.

Megan Hryniewicz

Bridesmaid

Megan and Cheryl met in Jamaica Queens when Cheryl was preparing to leave NY after a year of service at Hour Children, and Meg was just arriving to begin one. Their friendship was instant- they bonded over the common work, the strangeness of life in a (probably) haunted convent, the excitement and uncertainty of being in New York City, and the science of happiness. Meg is an extraordinary young woman with huge passion and drive, and an uncanny love for oats. Later this year she will be guest starring in the remake of the old version of Spiderman, filling in as Mary Jane while Kirsten Dunst is on vacation in Maui.

Aaron Rincones

Groomsman

Aaron, is Peter's best friend from college, who we're still not convinced isn't saved by the bell star Mario Lopez. Aaron and Peter were sort of roommates at Michigan State University. Aaron recommended Peter for a campus maintenance job one summer where they spent most days wandering the halls trying to look busy. From the experience they came away better friends and worse at maintenance.
