Flight
Once you land at Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (MAD), you have a few solid options depending on your plans: ➤ Heading into Madrid city center: - Taxi: The easiest option. Flat fare to central Madrid is 30 €. No need to negotiate. Just follow the signs to the official taxi stand. - Metro: Line 8 runs from the airport to Nuevos Ministerios. From there, transfer depending on your hotel location. - Rideshare: Uber and Cabify operate in Madrid. ➤ Going straight to Toledo: - Take a taxi or rideshare to Madrid Puerta de Atocha Almudena Grandes station (15–30 min from the airport). - Then take the Renfe Media Distancia train to Toledo (30–35 min ride). - Trains run frequently throughout the day, but we suggest booking in advance: 👉 www.renfe.com A few tips: - If you have luggage or are jet-lagged, take a taxi directly to Atocha. It’s worth the ease. - If your train time doesn’t align perfectly, grab coffee or a bite at the station—there are plenty of options. - Once you arrive in Toledo, a taxi will get you to the venue in about 10–15 minutes.

Once you’re in Madrid, getting to Toledo is easy. Take a short train ride from Madrid Puerta de Atocha Almudena Grandes station to Toledo on Renfe’s Media Distancia (Avant) service. The journey takes about 30 minutes. You can book tickets through: • Renfe • Rail Europe • Omio If you’re coming from Barcelona, take a high-speed train from Barcelona Sants to Madrid Atocha (approx. 3 hours), then transfer to the Toledo train. 🛂 Important: Be sure to read the fine print on your ticket. Some trains require check-in or validation before boarding. Failing to do so can result in a fine—even with a valid ticket.
