Please RSVP by Wednesday, the Twenty-Fifth of June, Two Thousand Twenty-Five. If you know you cannot make the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible. RSVPs are NOW OPEN! For the wedding and reception, attire is semi-formal. Dresses, suits, tailored separates. For the welcome party and tea ceremony, attire is smart casual—think polished but comfortable: light dresses, dress shirts, relaxed trousers. Please avoid wearing all white or all black, as these colors carry specific cultural significance and are reserved for other occasions.
If your invitation includes a guest, it will be listed on your RSVP. Due to limited space at the venue, we are only able to accommodate the guests explicitly named on the invitation. We so appreciate your understanding.
Some children are invited and included in our RSVP list, but we are not able to accommodate additional children. If your child is listed on your RSVP, we’d love to have them. Otherwise, we kindly ask you to make childcare arrangements.
Yes. The ceremony will take place outdoors overlooking the hills and city of Toledo. The cocktail hour will be outside as well. The dinner and dancing portion of the reception will be both indoors and open-air.
The venue, Cigarral de las Mercedes, is just outside the city of Toledo—not inside the old town. You’ll need to arrange a taxi or ride from the train station or city center.
The easiest way is by train. Take the Renfe Media Distancia train from Madrid Puerta de Atocha Almudena Grandes Station to Toledo Station. It’s a short, scenic ride—just under 35 minutes. Book tickets at: 👉 www.renfe.com Once in Toledo, you can grab a taxi right outside the station to reach the venue or your hotel.
Charming, old, and very hilly. Most streets are cobblestone. Wear shoes that are made for walking (and uneven ground). If you’re planning to drive, know that the streets are tight and parking is limited. If you’re not confident navigating narrow roads, you may be better off relying on taxis and walking.
There is no group shuttle planned. But taxis are easily available from the Toledo train station. The venue (Cigarral de las Mercedes) is about 10–15 minutes from the station by car. Walking is possible, but keep in mind: it’s a bit uphill and along cobblestones.
The venue hotel is fully booked. We’ve included a list of nearby accommodation options on our website under the Travel & Lodging section. There are many great boutique hotels and guesthouses in and around Toledo.
Toledo doesn’t have Uber or other ride apps. Taxis are reliable, but need to be called in. We recommend using Radio Taxi Toledo, the service we used ourselves: 📞 925 25 50 50 📞 925 22 70 70 These numbers connect directly to the local radio dispatch service. Most operators speak basic English. Your hotel can also help you call one.
