Welcome (Paella) Party & Tea Ceremony

Attire: Smart casual. Comfortable but nice—think light dresses, dress shirts, and nice trousers. Aim for a blend of relaxed and refined. Please avoid all white or all black—these colors are reserved for specific cultural occasions.
The celebration begins lakeside at La Casa Del Lago with a welcome party full of flavor and warmth. We’ll share a traditional Spanish paella dinner—prawn, chicken, and vegetable—alongside fresh salads, sweet desserts, and flowing sangría. After dinner, the tone shifts. In a quiet moment of reverence, we’ll gather for a tea ceremony where Cherry and David will honor their elders and unite two families. It’s a gesture of gratitude, love, and legacy. Guests are welcome to offer red envelopes and share wisdom as the couple pours tea.

The ceremony takes place at La Mirador, with sweeping views of Toledo and the surrounding Spanish hills. It’s quiet. Peaceful. Golden hour. We invite you to arrive by 18:00 for a welcome drink—something light to sip as you settle in and meet the other guests who’ve traveled near and far to be here. The ceremony begins at 18:30. We’ll exchange vows outdoors and honor tradition with the Filipino cord and veil—symbols of connection, unity, and shared future. Come early. Take in the view. Then witness something sacred, surrounded by the beautiful landscape and people we love.

At the center of it all—Jamón Ibérico carved fresh from the leg, served with intention. This is your hour to wander, snack, reconnect. To meet the people you missed at dinner. To catch your breath before the night unfolds. It’s not rushed. It’s not structured. It’s just good food, good drinks, and even better company—set against one unforgettable view.

Beef tenderloin with truffle brioche. Marzipan with almond milk, walnut, and caramel ice cream. Three wines to match. A crisp Verdejo. A deep Ribera del Duero. A bright Cava to finish.
