Wendy met Kristina in college and Kristina immediately took Wendy under her wing. They grew particularly close after college. Wendy remembers going down to the city, where Kristina lived at the time almost every weekend. Wendy and Kristina would explore the city together and be each other’s wing woman. Wendy and Kristina have gone through so much together. Wendy cannot remember a significant event in her adult life that Kristina was not a part of. They even lived together and Wendy was Kristina’s Maid of Honor at her wedding.
Lisa Chen
Maid of Honor
Lisa is older than Wendy by 3 years, and she is Wendy’s favorite older sister. They grew up doing almost everything together. Wendy looked up to Lisa and relied on her. Wendy and Lisa grew closer as they got older and when Lisa moved out of the house. Now Lisa lives 1475 miles away in Dallas, Texas, but they’re closer than ever.

Vicki is Wendy’s youngest sister, they are 7 years apart. Wendy still remembers the day Vicki was brought home from the hospital. Wendy and Vicki spend a lot of time together because Vicki likes to stay over at Wendy’s. Vicki may call Wendy “bossy” but Wendy calls it “love”. Vicki is the godmother of Wendy’s dog Layla, and is Layla’s second favorite person.
Jane Her

Wendy and Jane met when they were teenagers through a mutual friend. During that time, Wendy thought Jane was so cool. Wendy had a lot of fun and “first” experiences with Jane. First alcoholic drink, first entrance to a club with a fake ID, just to name a couple. Wendy and Jane didn’t see each other much during college but reconnected years later through Kristina. Since then, Wendy and Jane became very close, lived together and have been choosing healthier but still fun options for social activities together.
Laura Chen

Laura is Wendy’s younger sister. They are 6 years apart. Laura was Wendy’s favorite playmate at one point growing up when Lisa was becoming too mature for dolls and Vicki was considered too young to hang. One of Wendy’s favorite memories with Laura was their make believe camping trip in their dining room where they would build a fort. Now-a-days Laura is Wendy’s dim sum and bubble tea buddy and Layla’s third favorite person.
April Zimmerman
Bridesmaid
April was the first friend Wendy made in college. They met at a cultural club and immediately connected. They worked together at a sushi restaurant and also lived together after college. Wendy would describe April as her “partner in crime” (April being the criminal and Wendy getting caught for it). Wendy would say that she and April started as immature young adults together and have grown into semi-mature adults together.
Ching Lee

Ching and Wendy grew up together. Not only were they cousins but they were close friends and went to elementary school and college together. Wendy’s favorite memory of Ching was when they were in kindergarten. Ching came into class one day with a brand new box of crayons. Wendy and their other cousin Adam decided that it would be a good idea to break Ching’s crayons into threes so that there would be more crayons overall and they could all use the same colors at once. Genius, right? Nonetheless Ching was very upset but has decided to forgive Wendy and say “yes” to being her bridesmaid.
Justin Choi

Wendy and Justin met in high school and immediately became frienemies. Wendy and Justin both felt that the other was from a different planet, they had nothing in common but a mutual friend and annoyance toward each other. It was not until after high school that Wendy and Justin learned to appreciate each other. Wendy and Justin would spend a lot of their time in their 20’s shopping and eating out together. Their staple was the Willowgrove mall. Now Justin lives in London and Wendy is secretly wishing he moves back to the States one day.
Stephen Vandenberg
Best Man
Christopher and Stephen have known each other for almost literally their entire lives. Steve is Chris's younger brother and the father of Chris’s best friend, Ava. Chris couldn't imagine getting married without him by his side as best man.
Jordan Stelweck
Groomsman
Chris and Jordan became friends in high school when Jordan helped record Chris and Matt’s band’s album. It didn’t take long for the three of them to form a band together and they’ve been playing together ever since. Chris and Jordan are always each others collaborators in all their crazy ideas, whether it be music, tech or other areas they’re passionate about. You can be sure that Jordan always has a hand in the success of Chris’ projects big or small.
Jeremy Estrada

There is an urban myth in Chris’s circle of friends that he and Jeremy were best buds going back as far as single-digit grades. In reality, they really discovered their friendship post-college, though it seems like it goes back much further. Jeremy helps classy up this bunch of guys, and Chris couldn’t imagine him not being a part of this special day.
Paul Bateman

Paul and Chris were in the same major in college, where they met. In between working on media projects, they connected on their shared appreciation of movies and sports. Eventually, they moved in together with another roomate who was a decent roomate at best, but those were some good times. They still hang out all the time, and talk about all the same movies and sports and nonsense that they always have.
Matthew Edward Costello

Matt is Chris's oldest friend. They attended school together from kindergarten to senior year of high school and played in bands together for the majority of that time. During high school, Chris and Matt did exerything together and made a great amount of life-long memories, including their odd 5am drive to New York, or the weird huge logs they brought home from weekends in Long Beach Island.
Zack Russo
Groomsman
These two met in high school playing football, and developed a friendship that has lasted since. They once took a trip to Punta Cana with Chris’s family, which Matt is still jealous about. Zack and Chris have been on many adventures together, like getting lost driving in upstate New York, visiting farms all around New Jersey during Zack’s internship, and going off-roading and getting lost in complete wilderness. Chris is happy to have Zack be a part of this special day.
Mike Nagle

Chris and Mike met in grade school, bonding over nerd stuff and playing make believe, which they continued until maybe too old of an age. 30. That age was thirty. Mike is one of Chris’s oldest and closest friends.
Bryan Capone

Chris and Bryan became friends when one day Bryan walked into Chris’ dorm and asked “do you have a car?” And yes, he did have a car. Fast forward a year and they are now living together with their other friend, Dubs. Chris and Bryan went on to have so many great memories together including but not limited to: winning flag football championships all over the tri-state area, living together at Bryan’s house for months at a time during summers, running bullies out of dorms, organizing back alley boxing matches, and other countless examples of tomfoolery. They continue this tomfoolery till this day albeit not as often as they use to.
Ava Vandenberg

Super cute little Ava is Chris’ niece and Stephen’s daughter. Little Ava is the first grandchild in the Vandenberg family. Ava will be 1 year old by the time of the wedding. Wendy and Chris can’t wait to show off her cuteness!
Layla Chen
Flower Girl
Layla was a Christmas gift to Wendy from Kristina and Dave in 2015. Wendy and April went to the SPCA and initially, Layla was overlooked by Wendy’s due to Wendy noticing that someone else was interested in her. Eventually, Wendy picked Layla and another smaller sized dog to play/see outside of the cage after seeing that Layla had not been adopted. After meeting Layla, Wendy fell in love and had to take her home. Layla was 2 years old at the time and surrendered by her family due to no longer being able to feed her. Layla and Wendy has been inseparable since then.
Ethan Henderson
Ring Bearer
Handsome and charming Ethan is Kristina and Dave’s son. Wendy has loved watching Ethan grow up to be a smart, outgoing and talented little boy. Ethan is 8 years old and Wendy can’t wait for the guests to see his dance moves.
David Henderson
Officiant
Dave is Kristina’s husband and one of Wendy’s good friends. Dave is one of the most generous and genuine people you’ll ever meet. Chris and Dave have gotten to know each other well. Wendy, Chris and Dave have an on-going group chat where they mostly talk about UFC fights. Dave has many talents and skills with one of them being an officiant. Wendy and Chris can’t wait to have Dave marry them.
