Kailey and Chelsea met each other on the bus in fifth grade, where they bonded over monkey earrings. Since then, they have had adventures around the world together, even including working together in Malawi, Africa, and Kurdistan, Iraq.
Elena (AKA “Nug”)
Bridesmaid
Elena and Chelsea met as sorority sisters in Kappa Kappa Gamma. The two are best explained as a couple who should not be friends but now couldn't live without each other. Elena also met Ryan (Chelsea’s brother) through Chelsea, and Elena and Ryan have now been dating for over two years!
Katie
Bridesmaid
Katie and Chelsea also met as Kappa sisters at Cal. You will know when Katie has entered the room at the reception by the increase in decibel level, and if there is anyone that needs to take charge, Katie will be up for the challenge every time.
Julia (AKA “Jules”)
Bridesmaid
Jules and Chelsea met on day one of Semester at Sea and Chelsea considers Jules her Canadian Soul Sister.
Cameron (AKA "Cam")
Bridesmaid
Cam is also part of the Semester at Sea “friend circle,” so Cam and Chelsea have also had adventures around the world. They first bonded when they were unexpectedly naked in a monastery bath house together, but have also had adventures including playing Spikeball on the Great Wall of China, washing elephants in an elephant reserve in Myanmar, and almost getting kicked out of Tiananmen Square.
Katherine (AKA "KB")
Bridesmaid
KB and Chelsea met on the Mammoth Ski Team and have been competing and traveling together for races since they were kids. They never bonded when they were young, but over time have become close friends. KB is always up for any challenge, including cutting off Chelsea’s hair outside a Taco Bell when she graduated (sober, btw) and making it into a keychain that mysteriously ends up in strange places.
Nicole
Bridesmaid
Nikki is Rafael’s younger sister. She is smarter and better looking than Rafael and very happy Chelsea was willing to bite the bullet. Nikki is a division one college lacrosse player and will also be bouncing for the wedding.
Brandon
Groomsman
He floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee so keep an eye on this groomsman to be. Rafael and Brandon grew up together through middle and high school. When Brandon first met Rafael he said, "You are the ugliest girl I have ever seen". They spent the next 7 years hanging out every day.
Marcos
Groomsman
Marcos and Rafael have known each other since their awkward junior high school days. Since Marcos has been working from home, he figured living in Tahoe with Chelsea and Rafael was better than living in San Francisco, so he’s been a roommate since June. Some of his favorite activities include dancing, being Trip's chew toy, and all the outdoor recreation he can get his hands on.
Sommy
Groomsman
The Persian Stallion will be making his appearance next to Rafael for his I do's. They have known each other since high school and Rafael was a frequent at Sommy's Georgia Tech soccer games where Sommy was captain of the team. Don't just be mesmerized by his dance moves, he also makes for great conversation.
Malik
Groomsman
Malik was in the fraternity Kappa Sigma with Eugene and Marcos when Rafael met him. They instantly hit it off with a common interest of poking fun at Marcos and Eugene. They lived together in Atlanta together at two different houses and Rafael has been pressuring him to move out to Tahoe so they can be roommates once again.
Eugene
Groomsman
The groomsman that Rafael has known the longest. They met in 2nd grade and have been friends ever since. You can typically find Eugene nursing a White Claw or a Tequila water, fomenting a controversial conversation. He has lived and worked in 3 different states with his eyes set on California next. Being Ukrainian he's a man of values as well as your go to drinking buddy.
Kyriell
Groomsman
Picasso on the streets, loyal friend when you're feeling weak. Kyriell and Rafael met in high school and have remained friends throughout. When these two get together, you have a classic couple of menace's to society. Kyriell is an artist and his conversations are almost as colorful as his brush strokes. @artbykpa You should seriously check out this man's Instagram
Ryan
Groomsman
Ryan is Chelsea’s younger brother. Chelsea and Ryan have been very close siblings through their whole lives, so Ryan was the toughest member of the family for Rafael to win over. When Ryan first met Rafael, he got him drunk and literally interrogated him. Then when Rafael asked for the family’s blessing to marry Chelsea, Ryan pretended not to hear him so he had to ask twice! Eventually, Rafael passed all of Ryan’s tests and got the “thumbs up.”

Perry won a bet that he would marry Chelsea off someday… now Perry’s cashing in the bet.

Our first "child" joined our family in April 2020. He's a menace, but he's our menace.
