Wedding Party

Meet the wedding party!

Nicolette Billie

Maid of Honor

I am Katrina’s younger sister and I’m so honored to be her maid of honor on her big day! We have been through a lot together and no matter what we can still turn to each other when we need one another. We have so many memories and plenty of times that we’ve laughed till we cried like reenacting the Lion King to performing our “Britney Spears” dances in the basement. However, my latest favorite memory is when I met Katrina’s son, my nephew, Christopher. I’m so excited for what life has in store for her in the future as a sister, a mom, and a wife! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Shearer. I love you guys!

Richard "Gigs" Giguere

Best Man

I met Ben very early into Ben's Marine Corps days. Losh (another groomsman) and I were friends and we both decided to take Ben under our guidance. Through mechanics and the Marine Corps, Ben and I became good friends. Ben and I have been friends for over 10 years and even after Ben moved down to South Carolina, we have remained close friends with our annual ice fishing trips and at least getting together once a year to catch up. Whatever Ben needs, he knows i'm always here for him. I'm excited to celebrate such and important day in Ben's life with him.

Mckenna Billie

Bridesmaid

I am one of Katrina’s three younger sisters. I am so excited to be apart of this huge moment in Katrina’s life! My favorite memories with Trina were when we shared a room at home together. Trina has always been a role model I could look up to and learn what to do (and possibly what not to do….lol). Thank you for helping guide me in life! Cheers to the future Mrs. Shearer! I wish nothing but the best!

John Saunders

Groomsman

I met Ben 8 years ago when he walked in for his first day of patrol on F squad. His first day was just me and him, after my motivational speech to Ben, we went out and worked. After a few calls together we knew we were going to be friends. Several years on the street together with more stories to count, we became extremely close and found ourselves hanging out outside of work too. Although we don't work together anymore, we have stayed just as close. We have been through a lot together and nothing has shaken our friendship. Too many memories to tell, from funny, sad, happy and off the wall stories, just ask me and ill tell ya them all! Very excited for Ben and can't wait to share another special memory with him.

Elisa Heaven

Bridesmaid

Where do I start?! Katrina and I go way back! I met her in freshman year of high school and we immediately bonded on the fact that we both loved to play basketball & my first thought was “oh you are going to be my girl for the longrun” so you can say the rest is history. We have been friends since then! I call her my rider because she has always been there even when distance separated us senior year of high school, college and now as adults, but that never stoped us from being best friends. I look back on all our memories together from all the dates & boy drama lol, beach trips, school events and dances, the crazy house parties she use to have and so many more fond memories! The Billie House was the fun house and also the family house. Some of my favorite memories growing up was spent there. Going back now as an adult it still feels like home. Now that we are older Katrina is now making her own home with her soon to be husband and her newest addition to the family, Christopher who I love so much already. We still get to have our moments together now that we are older - more chilled and relaxed with wine (adulting lol) but it’s never a dull moment. I am so happy for her and these next beautiful chapters she is about to write. After all these years, this is just a new chapter in her book and I couldn’t be anymore proud of all her accomplishments.

Ryan Morrissette

Groomsman

I met Ben while we both served in 6th MTBN. He was a mechanic while I was a driver. Our paths didn’t cross much when we were deployed together in 2013 but at home our paths crossed quite a bit at “Backstreet”. He quickly became my friend and after all the long nights and weekends we have spent together doing {redacted} we’ve been brothers.

Victoria “Flan” Flanagan

Bridesmaid

Katrina and I met while we were in college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania pledging for the same sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta! If you’ve ever heard Katrina refer to Vic, Flan, or Flanny in a story that’s me….the good stories at least. Just kidding, when Katrina and I pledged together we instantly clicked and soon became inseparable. She became the Christina to my Meredith. My favorite memories with Katrina were the weekends we spent prancing around Indiana, PA and always having something to laugh about in the morning. Though we are miles apart, we have always stayed close at heart and I can’t wait to watch her begin this next exciting chapter of her life with Ben!

Matthew Losh

Groomsman

I met Ben in 2008 when he walked into the Unit and I was assigned as his mentor. After a short conversation, I told Ben, "Wait right here, I'll be back". I quickly forgot about the new guy and went about my day. After 4 hours and a Dunkin run, I was walking by where I told him to wait, and there he was still standing there... waiting. The next weekend I found out I was deploying and in the same group was Ben. I was the senior mechanic and Ben was the boot. Throughout the pre-deployment training in California, Ben and I became quick friends while I showed him the ropes. Ever since that deployment, we have been close friends and have kept in touch throughout important life milestones. I am excited to be apart of my Boots' special day!

Samantha Cimabue

Bridesmaid

Katrina and I became BFFs freshman year of high school, and it’s safe to say that the majority of my high school memories were at The Billie House. We have been through it all together: a couple awkward teenage phases, break-ups, sneaking out, parties, endless sleepovers, learning to drive, school dances, birth of siblings, cringy teen photoshoots, lots of laughs, some tears, reconnecting as adults, wine nights, and now weddings! I am so excited for Katrina and this next chapter of life with Ben and Toph. I can’t wait to stand by her side and help celebrate her forever!

Christopher “CJ” Monaghan

Groomsman

I met Ben back in [redacted]. At that time we were both [redacted]. And because of these [redacted] actions, we became friends. My favorite memory with Ben is [REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED]

Savannah Billie

Bridesmaid

I am Trina’s youngest sister and so excited to be a part of her big day! I loved when Trina had her friends over from high school because I got to hang out with the older girls. My favorite memories are going to the beach at Wildwood, NJ and going with Trina to get our nails done or going shopping!

Keegan Billie

Groomsman

I met Ben the first time my sister brought him home. Although he is a Cowboys fan, I knew he was a good guy and I was so happy for my sister. Since then we have enjoyed a few weekends and holidays together. Looking forward to the big day and excited for Ben and Katrina.

Katelyn McDonald

Bridesmaid

I’m a New Yorker at heart, but have lived in Charleston for 10 years and I have known Katrina for 6 of those years. We became fast friends while working on the same squad at CPD. She has always been there and picked up the phone when I needed her! My favorite memory of us was our first night out after a very lengthy hurricane detail and we spent all of our hard earned money (lol) on buckets of Trulys at the Roost. Someone kept throwing fireball shots in the mix (Alex), but we literally sang and danced the night away together and have been inseparable since!

Maurice Morrell

Groomsman

I met Ben a few years ago when I started dating his sister Lindsay. Naturally I had to impress Ben to get his approval which I think I did pretty good. Me and him talked about the Marine Corps as we both served, never together but had common ground there! Shortly after I proposed to his sister and she said YES! Ever since then Ben has been like a brother to me and I am so honored that Ben asked me to be a groomsman. Can't wait for the wedding and a memorable night I get to be a part of!

Jessica Stierhoff

Bridesmaid

I met Katrina in OCMD and we have been inseparable since. You are literally my soul sister! The funniest memory was definitely the one time Katrina brought home this random husky dog, Kona, but that dog became the staple of that summer. My other favorite memory was our roadtrip to SC when we were going to finish the hiring process to our first possible adult jobs ever. This ended up being the roadtrip from hell in my truck we called “big red” lol. There were so many things that went wrong with this truck, we literally cried. But we found a way to laugh about it like we always do, and get back home to PA! We have gone from the beach and floating in the bay days to being mothers and starting our families. I’m so excited to be apart of the beginning of this next chapter in her life!

Robert Bennett

Groomsman

I met Ben 8 years ago when I started working at CPD. I was the academy class behind him with Katrina. Ben and I worked together in Team 1 on several squads together which lead to several years of long shifts in the same car with Ben running a muck in City. Throughout those 8 years Ben and I shared similar career paths, and have been partners to this day. It has been a fun trip, and I am honored to be apart of his wedding.

Stefanie Pastors

Bridesmaid

Katrina and I met in college at Indiana University of Pennsylvania through our sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta! Since the moment Katrina joined the sorority we instantly connected! My favorite memory with Katrina is her big little night when Katrina joined our sorority family and became my little little! Even though we now live thousands of miles away from each other, it's so nice we still keep in touch and connect on a new level now as moms! I am so happy for the next chapter of her life and thrilled to be a part of it!

Justin Jacques

Groomsman

Ben and I have known each other for about 20 years now. We met in 7th grade and grew closer in high school doing [redacted] activities. Through the summers of high school, to summers on Nantucket we were together more often than not. We have many memories together, but a major moment was when we were having a going away party with our friends the first time Ben left for Afghanistan. We still had a good night, and it ended with just Ben and I drinking and smoking in my Jeep. That’s when we knew we were going to be friends forever. We have always learned from any past mistakes, and continue to grow in our adult lives even as parents. I’m excited to be a part of the next chapter in his life!

Briana Kramer

Bridesmaid

Katrina and I met through IUP and became inseparable between ROTC and AGD. Since our shenanigans in college, we have since continued those shenanigans across states. My favorite memories with Katrina mostly start with mimosas, and then the fun begins. We have always clicked and been able to find the laughs in everything. No matter how far apart we live, or how busy life gets, we have always remained close friends and will continue to be there for one another no matter what!

Thomas McNamara

Groomsman

Team 1 patrol is where I met Ben. He was an older cop when I started but was always down with whatever shenanigans I got into on the street. Shortly after Ben and I worked on the same squad and spent a lot of time working together. We transferred to SIU together and had a lot of fun in there. Although I don't work with Ben anymore we still talk and still are good friends. My favorite memory with Ben is in Meridian Mississippi where we spent a week for training, when in realty we spent a week shutting down Applebees and Buffalo Wild wings. Excited for the big day and celebrating with Ben and Katrina.
