Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party. We also want to allow all of our guests to relax and enjoy themselves, so we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Ceremony is at our church so we ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as midi dresses, cocktail-length dresses, or dressy separates for women and a suit and tie for men. Please note that the venue does not permit blue jeans or sneakers. The Reception and Cocktail hour will be at CHR&M and is a covered outdoor venue.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking at both the ceremony and reception. The ceremony starts at 2:00 pm at St. Theresa’s in Summerville and has free parking! The Cocktail hour starts at 5:00 pm at CHR&M and they will provide complimentary parking exit vouchers for guests attending the reception. We encourage everyone to use the two hours of downtime to travel safely, change into your dancing shoes, and prepare to CELEBRATE!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive between 1:15 and 1:45 to be seated in time for the ceremony which will start at 2:00 pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know when you RSVP so we can let the catering staff know to make those accommodations for you!

CHR&M alcohol policy

Answer

The guest who looks 30 years old or younger may be asked to produce proper identification when ordering or consuming an alcoholic beverage. Only a valid Driver’s License or State Issued Card will be accepted as proper form of identification. Management must check an out of state driver’s license with a picture. Back-up identification may be requested. No drinks containing more than 3 liquors will be served, and the service of shots is not allowed. The service of non-alcoholic beverages will be encouraged.
