Matron of Honor
My big sister, my role model, my partner-in-crime, and my best friend! I couldn't imagine having anyone else be my MOH. Abbey is so full of life, hilarious (just ask her yourself), and genuinely one of the most caring people you will ever meet. Our love of Raleigh, the Wolfpack, good beach days, and Gonza's margaritas runs deep and always means we're going to have good time. I'm so lucky that I was born into having the best best friend a girl could dream of.
Best Man
Affectionally known as Twitch, Mitch has been Tyler's best friend since junior high school. He's the "Chilton son" that followed in Bob's footsteps and became a firefighter. With his quick humor and love of movies, it's no wonder he and Tyler are best friends, and can have entire conversations consisting only of movie quotes. There aren't many funny/embarrassing stories of Tyler that don't involve Mitch in some way.
Bridesmaid
The girl I couldn't imagine life without! Since our 10th grade mid-week sleepover making cupcakes for our friend Spencer's birthday, this girl has been my sidekick through road trips, Friday night football games, different colleges, FaceTime dates, and proof that you don't have to be in the same city to be best friends. Lauren is one of the fiercest, most loyal and true friends you can be lucky enough to find, and I'm so lucky to have her stand by my side.
Groomsman
As Tyler's older brother, Adam knows Tyler unlike just about anyone else. With a quick wit and a crazy memory, Adam is probably one of the few people who can rival Tyler's random trivia knowledge. If you ever need a good debate or a teammate for wits and wagers, Adam is your guy. Tyler is so lucky to have such a dependable older brother, whether its for advice about a long week at work or someone to play golf with on Saturday mornings.
Bridesmaid
The Gupton girl that my parents claim with me + Abbey! Kaitlin and I met our senior year (my first one) of college, but I swear we've been friends for a lifetime. She is a genuine and honest ball-of-fun who is the first friend always willing to jump on the next adventure and make sure you're right there with her. Whether it's a Post Malone concert or just a wine night in, I can always count on her to be there for all of life's adventures!
Groomsman
Garrett, more commonly known as just Curry, was in Tyler's fraternity in college and they both ended up in Charlotte, NC following graduation! There are endless stories of days at Sycamore, walks home through South End and Uptown, and Hogs games watched. When we got our pup Digby, Tyler almost named him Curry because he missed Curry so much when he moved back to Texas. It was only fitting we'd follow a few years later and get to spend weekends with Curry and his amazing fiancee Katie!
Bridesmaid
The little sister God knew I needed! I met Victoria one of her first nights of college and instantly knew I needed this girl in my life. The day she ran to me on Bid Day, I knew she'd be one of those friends you only find a handful of times in life. Victoria is one of the most hardworking and loving people who inspire you to be a better person; I swear I want to be more like her when I grow up! After taking her to Urgent Care one morning, we grabbed lunch and had one of those talks about life that always make you feel better. I told her then she'd be a bridesmaid when the day came and here we are!
Groomsman
The older half of the Harvey Boys, Casey and Tyler became best friends following college when they, along with Mitch, would spend entire weekends at Casey's apartment in Fort Worth! Casey and his wife, Madi, were the first people Tyler introduced Sadie to in Texas as they have been amazing friends to him, and now to Sadie too! Days on the lake with the Chips_N_Caso soundcloud can't be beat, and if you ever need a friend you can 100% count on, Casey's your guy!
Bridesmaid
The only person I think who loved the Delta Zeta living room as much as I did! Margaret and I became friends the year we lived in-house of our sorority and realized that a life-talk while eating Pokey Stix, car rides to Sheetz, or buying everything in Vestique could solve just about any of life's problems. This girl is a true firecracker who will give you the tough love in only the way a true friend can. She may be tiny, but her personality lights up the room and I'm forever grateful I get to call her my friend.
Groomsman
The younger half of the Harvey boys, Brady and Tyler have been great friends since high school! If you ever need to feel immediately welcomed somewhere, just wait for a big ol' Brady hug as he yells out his favorite nickname for you. Brady, and his wife Krystal, know no strangers and truly make you feel like you've known them your whole lives. Brady will leave you laughing until you have tears in your eyes, and just wait till he hits the dance floor!
Bridesmaid
The first person I met in Texas back in 2019! From that first mambo at Mi Cocina, Madi immediately made me feel like I'd known her a lifetime. She has been a big part of Tyler's life for years, but without a doubt, she has quickly become a best friend and major factor in helping make Texas home for me. Whether it's headbanging with Tyler to Metallica, a game night in, day on the lake, or a night out on West 7th, Madi makes everything a party!
Groomsman
Tyler and Daniel, mostly referred to as just Blackshare, met their freshman year of college when they both joined Kappa Sig. They lived together their junior year of college, and had lots of adventures in both Fayetteville and Memphis where Blackshare attended dentistry school. Sadie got to experience Memphis with them when Daniel and his sweet wife Sydney got married there in June 2019!
Bridesmaid
A true heart of gold! Katie and I also met our senior year of college (again, my first one), while she was living with Kaitlin. In just a matter of weeks, Katilin, Katie and I were inseparable and truly became our own version of the Three Musketeers. Katie is one of the sweetest, most caring and down-to-earth people I've ever met. Our shared love of Outback cheese fries, Criminal Minds marathons, and life talks in the kitchen of 411 Dixie made sure that we became lifelong friends, and I can't wait to have this girl stand by my side.
Groomsman
Tyler and Dan met when they both ended up in Charlotte, NC for their jobs. Dan, Curry and Tyler quickly became inseparable, and once Curry moved away, Tyler and Dan became roommates for two years. Dan has a heart of gold and might be the only person who loves our Digby as much as we do! If you ever want to watch a Steelers game or need someone to be the life of the party, Dan's your guy!
Bridesmaid
The only one of my friends who may rival me for being "the mom"! Mackenzie is the kindest, sweetest, and most loyal person I've ever met. She is the friend that no matter where you are or what's going on, she'll be there at the drop of a hat. She doesn't take herself too seriously, loves everyone for exactly who they are, and truly allows you to be your most genuine self. I've learned so much from her, and I know she will forever be my friend through all of life's ups and downs.
Groomsman
Skylar is Tyler's younger, but much taller, cousin! Skylar and Tyler are definitely the two goofball cousins, always joking around and looking for the next practical joke or prank to play. Skylar found his perfect, silly, and fun-loving match in his wife Morgan, who he tied the knot with this past October!
Bridesmaid
My, oh, my! From bid day when Emily helped me hobble to DZ with my fractured ankle, I knew Emily was one-of-a-kind. She is one of the funniest, happiest, and most caring people I've ever met. Em never fails to make you laugh and you never feel anything short of loved by her. She constantly dances to the beat of her own drum and always encourages you to do the same. I love how many of my best memories from the last five years she is apart of, and I can't wait for having her as my bridesmaid to be one of the best yet!
Parents of the Bride
The bride's parents on their wedding day, August 29, 1987! My mom + dad are high school sweethearts who have been together since their first date at the Magic Attic in South Carolina when they were just 15 and 17. They have shown me how to love deeply and fearlessly through all of life's ups and downs, truly living out the vows they took 33 years ago. I couldn't be more grateful for the example they've set for me.
Parents of the Groom
The groom's parents on their wedding day, July 19, 1986! Tyler's parents are two of the most genuine fun-loving people, and I'm so thankful for the example of love, honesty, and unwavering support they set for Tyler. They have welcomed me into their family from the moment they picked us up in Albuquerque for that long drive to Durango, and I don't think I could've picked two better in-laws if I tried!
Officiant
The best brother I could've ever hoped for and the only man I'd ever consider to be good enough for my sister! Abbey met Taylor at her new job when she moved back to Charlottesville, and I still remember those days of her sending me texts about "McDreamy". Fast forward six years, and now I'm lucky enough to call him my brother and have him officiate our wedding! Taylor has a heart of gold, and his love of all things sports, good (country) music, good bourbon and beer, the beach, and of course, my big sister, made him the perfect addition to our family. I quickly learned that trying to beat him and Tyler in movie trivia is about impossible. I am so grateful to have him play such a huge part in our special day!
