The Blue Ridge Parkway is part of the National Park Service; the 469-mile ribbon of road offers breathtaking views of some of the highest peaks east of the Mississippi River and access to the area's best hiking trails. Top places to visit and hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway include Looking Glass Falls, Craggy Gardens, Mount Mitchell, Folk Art Center, Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center, Mount Pisgah, Graveyard Fields, and Black Balsam. We recently hiked Black Balsam Knob, which had gorgeous panoramic views!
Visit Burial Brewing, Green Man, Wicked Weed, The Funkatorium, Catawba Brewing, Hi-Wire, and Eurisko Beer Co. on Asheville's famous South Slope.
The Biltmore Estate is America’s largest home. This French Renaissance castle in the heart of Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains is an architectural jewel. The home features 250 rooms, including 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms and 65 fireplaces. In addition to the house, the 8,000-acre estate is home to forested trails and beautiful gardens. Biltmore is also where you’ll find the nation’s most visited winery.

Located in downtown Asheville, the museum features some 75 vintage pinball machines, all available to play on site. There are also classic video games available, plus tons of gaming memorabilia dotted around the venue – on the walls and even in the restrooms. And just like a true arcades, the museum offers snacks, sodas and beers.
Asheville's River Arts District (RAD) is a creative hub along the French Broad River. Former warehouses and mills with colorful exterior murals, contain glassblowing, pottery, and other artisan studios, plus indie art galleries.
