Kristen and Tom’s story began in 8th grade during the 2007–2008 school year when they were assigned seats next to each other in computer class. At first, their relationship looked a lot like typical middle school banter, including Tom repeatedly turning off Kristen’s computer whenever he had the chance. But during track season that year, they began spending more time together and discovered an easy connection that never went away. Through the years, life continued to bring them back to each other, turning a middle school relationship into something lasting. On December 2, 2025, Tom asked Kristen to marry him at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Now, they’re excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
