Maid of Honor
Wins the award for friend who has lived the most time (cumulatively) with the bride - 5 years! Met as replacement freshman year roommates at William & Mary and their mutual love of cats, cheese, and true crime has bonded them ever since. Fun fact: Sandra's cat Nugget basically co-wrote Rachel's Master's Thesis.

Also met Rachel during their freshman year at William & Mary and formed a friendship despite the shenanigans that befell the residents of Hunt Hall that year. Fellow artist, sharer of closet/wardrobe, and traveler extraordinaire, Morgan has accompanied Rachel in many skinny-arm facebook profile photos over the years.

Another member of the W&M Hunt Hall crew, Rachel was initially introduced to Haley as HAALLLLEYYYY (which you may hear yelled by various people during the reception). Rachel was honored to be a bridesmaid in Haley's own wedding in July 2018 and owes 100% of her knowledge of hockey to Haley as well.

Also met during their freshman year at William & Mary when Ashley transferred in from a different school 2nd semester (best decision!). Rachel always enjoys catching up with Ashley over wine and living vicariously through her various travels around the world, athletic endeavors, and general bosslady spirit. Fun fact: Ashley is the reason Rachel signed up for the Rock and Roll Half Marathon that she completed with Drew in March 2019.

Also met freshman year at W&M - Rachel's first distinct memory of Sara involves her blasting music the 2nd morning of orientation to the delight of everyone else who lived in Hunt Hall. This was foreshadowing as Sara has become somewhat of a music consultant/guru for Rachel throughout their friendship. Though never officially roommates/housemates, Sara might as well have been considering the amount of time she has spent at Rachel's apartments/houses over the years.

When Rachel marries Drew, she'll gain a sister who is a fellow cat lover and nationally-ranked fencer. She is also skilled in the martial arts of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and krav maga and has an appropriate meme for any occasion.

Rachel and Michelle grew up on the same street but didn't start hanging out until high school because both were too nervous that the other person would think they were weird... once they began carpooling to school, they became fast friends and "natural partners" according to a very accurate online personality test. They have exchanged countless mixed CDs (which Rachel still regularly listens to in her 2008 VW Beetle) and eaten many an Oreo together. Rachel was also honored to be a bridesmaid in Michelle's own wedding in August 2017.

Rachel and Liz became friends in Ms. Plummer's HS freshman year English class because Liz thought Rachel's skull t-shirts and sharpie-d converses were super cool (just kidding, it was because she wanted to be partners for classwork since Rachel was clearly a nerd). They doubled-down on nerdiness and both embraced a lifestyle of alternating between marching band practices and drama club rehearsals together throughout most of high school.
