GETTING TO THE VENUE

We're getting married in Boulder, Utah, a remote corner of the Utah desert that won us over with its stunning red rock landscapes and proximity to national parks. We want to be upfront: this is not an easy place to reach. The nearest major airports are about four hours away, the town is small with limited lodging, cell service can be spotty, and the venue is fully outdoors in rugged terrain. If you're planning to join us, we recommend renting a car and booking accommodations well in advance. It will require some planning and a spirit of adventure, but for those who can make it, we promise the experience will be well worth it. Airports & Drive Times: Guests flying in are encouraged to rent a car, as Boulder is remote and not accessible by public transportation. You can fly into any of the following airports: Salt Lake City International (SLC) – about 4 hours Las Vegas (LAS) – about 5.5 hours St. George Regional (SGU) – about 4 hours Cedar City Regional (CDC) – about 3 hours The drive into Boulder is incredibly scenic, passing through canyons, mesas, and high mountain desert, consider it the first taste of the adventure!

House Or Rental

ACCOMODATIONS

Because on-site lodging is limited, the bride and groom are reserving the venue accommodations for immediate family and the wedding party. Unless you have received an explicit invitation to stay on the property, we kindly recommend booking a stay in one of the nearby towns listed below. Each offers its own charm and is an easy drive to the venue: Camping: If you're comfortable camping, you'll have plenty of beautiful options nearby. The Burr Trail, Deer Creek, and Dixie National Forest all offer great spots to pitch a tent under the stars. For those who prefer more amenities, here are three towns with hotels, Airbnbs, and glamping options: Boulder, UT (Closest to the venue) Quiet, scenic, and perfect if you want to stay immersed in nature. Boulder offers cozy, boutique lodging with quick access to the wedding site, trailheads, and local farm-to-table dining. We recommend Boulder Mountain Lodge, which is right next to Hell's Backbone Grill, a bit pricier but an incredible dining experience. Escalante, UT (30–40 minutes south) The most convenient option for a wider range of lodging and amenities. You'll find small inns, locally-owned motels, vacation rentals, and a handful of cafés and restaurants. It's a great home base if you want more services nearby. Best route if you're driving from Las Vegas, St. George, or Cedar City. Torrey, UT (About an hour north) Located near Capitol Reef National Park, Torrey has a polished "gateway town" feel with charming inns, boutique hotels, and a growing food scene. Ideal if you'd like to combine the wedding weekend with some national park exploring. Best route if you're coming from Salt Lake City.
