National Parks: Capitol Reef National Park (45 min north), Bryce Canyon (1.5 hours west), and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (surrounding area) all offer stunning hikes and scenery.
Hiking & Waterfalls: Lower Calf Creek Falls (11 miles away) is a must-do 6-mile round-trip to a 126-foot waterfall. The area is also famous for slot canyons like Zebra Canyon, Spooky Gulch, and Peek-a-Boo.
Scenic Drives: Highway 12 Scenic Byway and The Burr Trail offer breathtaking views of red rock formations and painted desert landscapes.
Local Spots: Anasazi State Park Museum showcases ancient Puebloan history. Hell's Backbone Grill offers incredible farm-to-table dining (reservations recommended). Kiva Koffeehouse serves great coffee with stunning views.
