You never fail to make me laugh and always go above and beyond to make every day better than the last. Our wedding day takes place not long after we started dating 10 years ago. If the next 10 are as good as the last I will be the luckiest man alive."
Rose
Mother of the Bride
Introducing the bride's mum, Rose! As you will surely witness during the wedding festivities, Rose is the life of the party and never misses a chance to hit the dance floor. Charlotte calls her mum her idol (always has been and always will be), inspiring her to be unapologetically herself. Will, on the other hand, loves that Rose doesn’t quite get his sense of humour, making it all the more fun to tease her (she laughs… once she figures out he’s joking!). A little about Rose: she’s a globe-trotter who spends more time outside the UK than in it, travelling the world with Darren, her husband of 30 years. Six years into retirement, they’re still adventuring around Europe in their beloved camper van, Brian (named after Charlotte's grandad). She’s also a devoted daughter, a loyal friend, and a reluctant “grandmother” to our cat, Diego. (Needless to say, both Rose and Darren are eagerly awaiting the day they can upgrade to “real” grandchildren to join them on their adventures!) This is just a glimpse of why she’s so loved by everyone who knows her. We feel so lucky to have Rose in our lives and can only hope to be as fun-loving, kind, and adventurous as she is.
Tammy
Mother of the Groom
Introducing the powerhouse that is Tammy Silcock! As the matriarch of the Silcock family (and a certified boss), William's mum is the one everyone turns to when something needs to get done. With a heart of gold, she’s always ready to help and goes above and beyond for the people she loves. Charlotte feels incredibly lucky to be marrying into the Silcock family—especially with Tammy as her mother-in-law (they’ve been calling each other “in-laws” for years now, so thank goodness Will finally proposed!) Will says his mum is simply the best and can’t imagine life without her love and support. Fun fact: Tammy is the queen of manifestation. If she sets her mind on something, it will happen. Many of the details of our wedding are thanks to her—she thinks of absolutely everything. She’s worried at times about overstepping during the planning, but we couldn’t be more grateful to have her as our unofficial (and very talented) wedding planner. She’s also an amazing cook who happily shares her kitchen secrets with Charlotte—even if Charlotte has the memory of a particularly incompetent goldfish and forgets them within two minutes! We love her to bits and couldn’t ask for a more supportive, thoughtful, and fun mum.
Billy
Best Man
I know what you’re thinking... that man looks suspiciously like William! Congratulations, you have keen observation skills! Meet Billy, Will’s dad and best man. He insists on being called Daddy Warbucks (yes, we are Annie) whenever he picks up the tab (often). Charlotte loves to tease Billy (much to Tammy’s delight), though he always gives as good as he gets. Will says his dad is one of the closest people in his life, and there’s no one else he would rather have standing beside him as best man. Fun fact: Will talks to his parents every single day. Charlotte still finds this slightly baffling after 10 years together—she usually checks in with hers every 3–5 business days (they’re close, we promise!). Billy has been happily married to Tammy for over 30 years, and we both agree: if our own marriage is filled with even half as much love, laughter, and kindness as theirs, we will consider ourselves very lucky.
Darren
Father of the Bride
Say hello to Darren, father of the bride! Also known as the second-smartest person in the Izzard family—he proudly held the top spot for decades until Emily swooped in with her Master’s degree (sorry, Dad!). Charlotte feels incredibly lucky to be his daughter and knows he’s truly one of a kind. Will also knows that Darren is one-of-a-kind and enjoys bullying him in his spare time. Darren is also the family historian, spending much of his retirement building an elaborate family tree that stretches back centuries. And as a talented photographer, he’s captured more beautiful moments than we can count. Charlotte’s favourite? A stunning shot of Yosemite Falls from their California trip in 2016—a view she actually missed because she had just met Will that spring and chose to spend the hike FaceTiming him from the hotel room instead! All jokes aside, Darren is deeply loved by his family, and Charlotte can’t wait to have him by her side to walk her down the aisle.
Emily
Maid of Honor
Introducing Emily — Charlotte’s sister, joint maid of honour, and undisputed genius of the bridal party! In Charlotte’s eyes, Emily is the smartest person alive! As a biologist (with multiple degrees), she’s busy in the lab most days working for Holiferm in Manchester (go Em!!). And when she’s not busy being a science wizard, Emily is usually off chasing adventures — like the time she jumped out of a plane from 15,000 feet while travelling in Australia (did I mention she's crazy!?). Will (who is Emily’s #1 fan) insists she’s the coolest person ever. Growing up, her nickname was “DQ” (short for Drama Queen), and we’re hoping she channels at least a little of that energy as we dive into wedding planning and hen do prep!
Ellie
Maid of Honor
Meet Ellie — Charlotte’s ultimate ride-or-die, closest confidant, and joint maid of honour. Ellie isn’t just the funniest person alive (though her boyfriend, Jack, likes to claim she’s “not that funny” — we definitely disagree). She’s also a total powerhouse, running her own bridal shop and designing gorgeous bridal mini dresses with Aurelle Bridal and Aurelle Attire (seriously, check her out!) Will calls her the life of the party, and she proves it every year at the legendary Taylor-Fenney Halloween bash. Charlotte also takes full credit for converting Ellie into a country music fan as what started as a desperate need for a concert buddy has turned into a full-on obsession, complete with the sparkliest pair of cowgirl boots you’ll ever see. I wish there were a poll option here, because here’s a fun fact about Ellie: she and Charlotte have been asked multiple times if they’re sisters! If you’ve seen our faces above, you’re probably as shocked as we are (seriously, this happens all the time and we just don’t see it?!). While they might not look alike, they definitely share a love for fun! We can't wait to see her break it down on the dance floor the night of the wedding!
Shan
Bridesmaid
Shannon is not only one of Charlotte’s bridesmaids but also holds the title of Charlotte’s longest-standing friend—they’ve been inseparable since they met at just three years old! Twenty-five years later, Charlotte still feels incredibly grateful to have her by her side as a bridesmaid. A fun fact about Shannon: she’s a true social butterfly, always booked and busy, and catching her usually requires at least four weeks’ notice. Don’t be fooled, though—this party animal is often tucked up in bed by 9 PM. Charlotte loves Shannon’s kind spirit and eagerness to do fun things (as long as they wrap up before bedtime). Shannon was also the very first friend Charlotte introduced Will to, and he’s loved her sense of humour from day one. As for her husband, Mike? Let’s just say he and Will have developed quite the bromance.
Jen
Bridesmaid
Introducing the one and only Jen — bridesmaid and one of Charlotte’s closest friends! Charlotte and Jen actually met on Bumble BFF, and now they joke about sending their wedding photos to Bumble as the ultimate “success story.” Together, they love spa days, Glee marathons, and making sure Flight Club in Manchester stays in business — usually with Will and Jen’s boyfriend, Ryan, in tow. Jen is also the biggest social butterfly we know – she’s always out and about, spending her days with friends and family doing the most fun activities! If we had even a fraction of Jen’s social battery, our social calendar would be SO much more exciting! Will calls Jen a true go-getter, and Charlotte says she’s her inspiration (love you Jen!). We feel so lucky to have her by our side on our big day!
Laura
Bridesmaid
Meet Laura, one of Charlotte’s bridesmaids and a fellow Taylor Swift superfan! Laura and Charlotte were best friends in primary school, reconnected in their early 20s, and have been inseparable ever since. Fun fact: Charlotte, Laura, and Ellie lost the infamous Ticketmaster war for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour tickets, but managed to find second-hand tickets online. When they arrived at the entrance, Laura’s ticket was flagged as invalid — it turned out to be a fake! After a tense pause and some panicked glances, security announced it must have been double-scanned and quickly let them through (an absolute angel). The relief we felt!!! Both Charlotte and Will agree that Laura is the life of the party, lighting up any room she walks into. We can’t wait to see her bring that same energy to the dance floor at our wedding!
Claudia
Bridesmaid
This bridesmaid needs no introduction! Claudia is THE life of the party and is always ready for a good time. As Will's little sister, Charlotte first met Claudia when she was just 12, making her feel more like a sister than anything else. Fun fact: Claudia has two great loves — her vintage dresses and her daily Starbucks run. If you’re ever trying to find her, check the nearest coffee spot, and don't forget to add allllll the caramel drizzle (absolutely no syrup) if you're picking up her go-to order! Will loves how his little sister brings the fun everywhere she goes, and Charlotte adores her one-of-a-kind energy.
Marshall
Groomsman
If you find yourself in need of a good laugh, Marshall is the person you talk to. He is always the first to crack a joke or find a way to say the least appropriate thing at the exact right time. Whether the jokes make sense or not is a different matter, but you will find yourself laughing nonetheless. Will and Charlotte both wish they lived closer to Marshall (and Hannah & Bertie!), and love spending time with them as a couple! He is undoubtedly the most genuine guy we know and his only vice is his slight addiction to Land Rovers and Milwaukee tools.
Joel
Groomsman
One of Will's closest friends, Joel and Will met in high school and have been friends ever since their love of cars brought them together. Back then, you would find them most evenings scrolling AutoTrader trying to work out how to make the finance numbers on supercars work. Obviously they never did manage to make them work, but who doesn't love to dream?! Joel was the first friend that Will introduced Charlotte to at the start of their relationship, and she has loved him ever since! Joel is kind, dependable and so much fun, and we both agree that everyone should have a friend like Joel in their life (we love you Joel!)
Bobby

Introducing groomsmen, Bobby! Bobby is hilarious. In fact, Charlotte and Will regularly quote his most iconic moments on a daily basis. He is the wittiest man we know and never fails to make you smile. Not only is he a fantastic comedian, he is also an adept seamstress spending most of his days running his stitching empire. Bobby also likes to dabble in being cool every so often, and regularly sends Charlotte updates and announcements about Taylor Swift. So if you enjoy Taylor, or if you happen to be into Bitcoin, football, or red milk, this is your man!
Josh

Say hello to groomsman, Josh! An all around top bloke. Fun fact: his real name is Jim, but he has always used his middle name since he was young. Josh is a great conversationalist and also an avid collector of things; ask him about his collection of spoons, you won't be disappointed. But more than that, Josh is a great friend, father and husband, and Will & Charlotte love reuniting with Josh, Ellie and their daughter, Nova, whenever they can! We love you all!!
George-Rowland
Groomsman
George-Rowland loves a good party almost as much as he loves pizza. The only Yorkshire man to make the cut, you can trust that GR will get the party started once the "boring stuff" is out of the way. If you need a drinking buddy, this is your guy! Fun fact: Will and Charlotte were the honoured guests at his wedding to Demsi in 2023 (the best time!), and they have recently announced that they are expecting! We know how excited both GR & Demsi are to be parents, and we cannot wait to meet Baby Tucker and to see the cute little outfit mum & dad pick out for them on the big day!
Keaton

As William's oldest friend, Keaton has been there since the start. Kind, easy going and daft as a brush. Both William and Charlotte love Keaton's infectious energy, and both agree that his fiancée, Amber, is the yin to his yang! They are such a well matched couple, and we love to spend time with them whenever we can. As the life of the party, Keaton also loves a drink as much as the next man! If you find yourself at the bar next to him, make sure to get him a double shot of vodka – it's his favourite drink!
Mason

Last but by no means least (arguably the coolest guy we know?!), say hello to Mason! The best dressed welshman around and a man who knows how to have a good time. Mason isn't a stranger to the finer things in life – these days, you'll find him living and working in Dubai selling the most luxurious properties on the market! Be careful when you speak to him, you might be convinced to buy one! Mason is super friendly and easy to chat to (which we're sure comes in handy in his career), and Charlotte loved him from day one of being introduced! He also (we think?!) will hold the title for having travelled the furthest to our wedding, so we are especially grateful to him for making the effort and showing up for us on our big day (we appreciate you Mason!!).
