What is the date and time of the wedding?

Answer

We are getting married at Quinta Lago dos Cisnes at 2PM on Wednesday 10th of June 2026. We have organised travel from the main hotel (Eurostars Aliados) at 11:30 AM, so please ensure that you are at Eurostars Aliados in time on the morning of the wedding. For any guests staying in Braga and organising their own transport, please arrive to the venue at 1PM.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire! Ladies are encouraged to wear dresses or jumpsuits, and gentlemen should wear suits, with a tie being optional. Out of respect for the bride, we kindly ask that no one wears white.

Are there accommodations nearby?

Answer

We chose to base our wedding festivities in Porto to give everyone the chance to experience this vibrant city, full of fantastic bars, restaurants, sightseeing, and plenty of things to explore. As a couple who loves city breaks and discovering new places, it felt natural to celebrate in Porto - the nearest city to our venue and a perfect hub for fun and adventure. This is also where we’ll be hosting our night-before party! If you prefer to stay closer to the venue, the charming town of Braga offers a variety of cosy hotels and Airbnb options.

How do I get to Porto?

Answer

The easiest way to get here is by air. With airlines like Ryanair and easyJet, there are plenty of flights available on various days from across the UK to Porto.

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones, but this will be an adult-only celebration with the exception of a handful of close friends and family.

What are the transportation arrangements?

Answer

We have organised coaches from Eurostars Aliados to the venue. Please ensure that you arrive by 11:30 AM on the day of the wedding to catch the travel provided from the front of the hotel.

Your presence at our wedding means the world to us! If you would like to give a little something, we would be so grateful for any contribution toward our honeymoon.

Yes! We’ve created an itinerary for the day-before party and wedding day under 'Schedule', along with a list of activities you might enjoy whilst in Portugal on the 'Things To Do' tab.

Are you hosting a party the day before?

Answer

Yes – the celebrations begin the day before with a special gathering to start the wedding weekend, very kindly hosted by William’s parents, Tammy and Billy. All of the details can be found on the schedule of events tab!

What is the dress code for the day before?

Answer

Our night-before venue is perfect for chic cocktail dresses, mini and midi dresses, and blazers with trousers. Wear something fun that makes you feel good! The bride will be in something fun and dressy (and white!), and the groom’s outfit will be formal wear. Dressing up is (always) encouraged!
