We cannot thank you all enough for putting in the miles, persevering with time zones changes, and rushing to make flight connections all to be with us. You being there with us is the best gift we could ever hope for.
If you are still compelled to give something, we would be honoured if you would make a donation to Birmingham Hospice -- the wonderful organization that looked after Phil's dad, Paul, in his final weeks.
Italy has a special place in our hearts because it was for Paul's 70th birthday that we went to Tuscany and spent our first trip abroad as a couple. (Yes, our first romantic getaway included Phil's entire family...)
Paul would have loved everything about this wedding - the venue, the food and the wine, but especially meeting all the people that are so important to his son and daughter-in-law who he always called Char-Char.
