The area around Borobudur has a wide selection of accommodation options, ranging from budget-friendly homestays and guesthouses to luxury hotels. Below are the details of Plataran Borobudur Resort and Spa (which is where the wedding will take place) and Plataran Heritage Borobudur (within walking distance). On previous visits, we have stayed at ibis Styles hotel in Yogyakarta, which is comfortable and not too hard on the wallet. If this appeals to you, just be aware that travelling by car to the venue at Borobudur takes at least 1 hour and 10 minutes (and sometimes quite a bit more).
