The dress-code is tropical semi-formal. Light, breathable fabrics such as linen and cotton should help you to stay cool and comfortable during the Indonesian dry season. If you are looking for inspiration, you may wish to draw from the customary Batak colours of black and red, which represent the spirit and earthly realms, respectively. An optional palette derived from these colours is included above.

Following the ceremony, we will all enjoy a delicious Indonesian-style meal with both vegetarian and meat-based options (let us know if you have other requirements), followed by a party as the sun goes down over Borobudur!
