Wedding Party

Meet the friends and family who were crazy enough to put up with all our planning and pre-wedding jitters.

Shaely

Maid of Honor

Even before she became my sister-in-law, Shaely has been a little sister to me. Her goofy, spunky, joyful out look on life has inspired me through the years. Shaely and I first met when she moved to Oregon for school and I drove her to a worship team meeting. After talking music, horses, ASL, and hiking, we knew we would become the best of friends. Little did I know she would end up marrying my little brother! Our friendship deepened when she moved into the Harriet House with me, where so many of my closest relationships have been fostered. Shaely, you are truly an amazing sister! Thanks for being there through thick and thin, thanks for your delicious pot pie, and thanks for sharing this day with me. Love ya always!

John Henry

Best Man

John Henry is my "little" brother, I say "little" because since I was 12 he was as tall or taller than I was despite me being the older one. John Henry and I have had our fair share of fights, as brothers do, but we have always loved one another. I chose him as my best man not just because he is my brother, but because I wanted to honor him as the best man in my life. I know that he will always be a part of my family and he deserves to be included in the moments that mean the most to me. John Henry I wanted to thank you for being with me for my wedding. I know that from the moment we announced the wedding you wanted to be best man. I can tell you that from the very beginning of this that was my plan. Thank you little brother for always looking up to me.

Cayla

Maid of Honor

Cayla and I have been best friends since we were 12. We bonded over softball and helped each other navigate the tenuous years of high school. We decided we couldn't bear being apart for college, so we picked one that worked best for the both of us: Western Oregon. Everyone said living together would ruin our relationship, but we proved them wrong and roomed together for four years, two in the dorms, two in HH. Cayla, you have always been there for me. We've seen a lot of stuff together over the years. We have stood by each other through the hardest of times and the best of times. You helped show me what friendship can look like and I thank you for that. I can't wait to walk down the aisle knowing you will be standing up there with me! Thanks for always being my sister. I love you, Perry!!

Tristin

Groomsman

Tristin is the guy who would put the world on his shoulders is he could. I know that this sounds cléché but I have not met a more humble, kind, and caring person in my life. I say this because he is an incredibly talented musician yet he will never brag about it, he will drop whatever he is doing to console or help another person, and he is constantly thinking about how he can be of help to other people. I am glad I get to call him a close friend and now my groomsman. Tristin I can't thank you enough for the help you have given me over the years. Whether that help was in the form of advice or letting me call upon you last minute for some desperately needed mechanical repaires. Thank you Tristin for always being able to lend a hand!

Bailey

Bridesmaid

Bailey and I met in the Harriet House, like so many of my other girls. We instantly hit it off and realized we had a lot in common. Since then, Bailey has become one of my closest friends. She's always there with a hug and a dose of truth when I need it. She is fiery and loyal and centered in Christ. Not to mention one talented singer and line dancer! ;) Bailey, you are a beautiful spot of sun in my life and you never fail to bring laughter and adventure where ever you go. I am honored that you will share this next adventure with me. Love you, girlie!

Noah

Groomsman

THE GAME. Sorry Noah. Noah and I have a relationship that consists of constant banter and messing with one another. He and I came to know one another my freshman year of college. We both joined the drumline and instantly hit it off. Our friendship solidified when Noah approached me later that year and asked if I wanted to room with him and I said yes. Since then he and I have gotten to know one another better and Noah is the most honest person I know, that guy wears his heart on his sleeve. Noah my life would like wildly different without you. You have influenced and changed me for the better. I think you are pretty darn awesome!

Emily

Bridesmaid

Emily! Where to even start? Beyond being one of the most beautiful women inside and out that I have ever met, she is also the most talented, motivated, and loving. The fact that she has been through so much and still has love and compassion to spare is inspiring. Emily and I met in the Harriet House. She actually took Cayla's old room right next to me, so we were bathroom buddies. So many stories from late night bathroom talks! haha. Emily, you are one of my best friends and I love you dearly. Me and Charlie's relationship would have looked very different with out your support, prayers, and advice. Thank you and Alan for being an amazing couple, you inspire us daily! I couldn't imagine this day with out you. Lots of love!

Nick

Groomsman

Dare I say Nick has been like an older brother to me (now don't let that go to your head). The teasing, the "getting me into stuff that I probably shouldn't" (like wrestling and him putting me in choke holds and me hurting my neck, ... more than once), the teaching, and the mentoring. This is the only time I will admit that he has been like an older brother. Thank you Nick for taking me under your wing. Also thank you for sticking around when times were tough for myself and for yourself. It takes courage to keeps friends close when the world seems like it's against you. Lets walk forward together.

Morgan

Bridesmaid

Morgan has been my friend since I moved into the Harriet House (I know, such a surprise, another HH girl). She spent two years in the room across the hall from me and we had many impromptu conversations standing outside our bedroom doors. Morgan has one of the most infectious laughs I've ever heard. Literally no one can stop from laughing once she starts. I have watched her grow over the years from a quiet book worm and Marvel geek (no judgement here ;) into a fiery woman of God. Her passion to do help others is only surpassed by her passion to do the will of her Father. Morgan, you inspire all us introverts out there, you inspire all the women of God, you inspire me. Thank you for being an amazing friend and Avatar tLA buddy! Love ya, girl!

Luke

Groomsman

I met Luke a little after I met Kendra. Luke is the eldest of the Kroeker boys whom he is representing by being one of my groomsmen. He is also the brother I have gotten to know the best. We have gone a quite a few adventures together, one of which was going to Antelope Island in Utah. There, I was the closest I had ever been to a bison (which walked right in front of the car!). Luke, thank you for letting me into the family and trusting me to take care of Kendra. To the rest of the Kroeker boys, you better watch out because it wont be long before I am just another member of the family.

Randi

Bridesmaid

I first met Randi at Royal Family Kids' Camp about 7 years ago during our first year as counselors. We learned quickly that we are very similar people (both of us are type A, organized, leaders who have a heart for kids in the foster care system.) We became quick friends and the rest is history! Randi, I appreciate you so much! Your willingness to step up and help me out during this time has been awseome. Your heart continues to inspire me to reach for my goals and to step out fearlessly to help those around me, especially the kiddos. Thank you for all the late night laughs in the girls common area and all the emotional support when I needed it the most!

Colin

Groomsman

Colin is the coolest guy I know. He is also one of the smartest. Colin and I first met in high school, we were in band and geometry together. I remember the first day of geometry and saw that Colin was in the same class as me. Since we had band earlier that day I had recognized him and I sat down next to him. There we met a good friend Micah Thomas. The three of us were inseparable, I still have some of the "notes" we took in that class and from time to time I love looking at them and just laughing. Colin to this day you are still one of my best friends. I know that the world has changed a lot since we first met but yet, you and I still remain friends. I really cannot describe how grateful I am that I can still call you a friend.
