Chucko & Lina's Big Day!

Charlie and Kalina had known each other for a while before they began dating. They had hung out together in groups with mutual friends. However, the one that finally stuck was when both of them were newly single, timelines aligned and thanks to their great friend, Jared Tsosie, they all hung out together and chatted music. Knowing both Charlie and Kalina, you should know that was game over! From there they went to a few shows including Beach House and Lake Street Dive and after a while they realized that their lives meshed perfectly and their future bloomed from there!

2020 was obviously a frustrating, difficult and stressful year for everyone. For Charlie and Kalina, it was no different. Charlie had initially planned to propose to Kalina at Under the Big Sky Festival in Whitefish, MT since one of their favorite artists, Paul Cauthen, was playing. However, when that didn't happen, he pushed it off for a bit to find the perfect moment. Come October, Charlie and Kalina were getting excited for Halloween - one of their favorite holidays. After a COVID scare in Kalina's office, she unfortunately caught COVID and it was a stressful few weeks. Once everyone was feeling healthy, she told Charlie to just wait until 2021 - there would be happier times ahead! On New Year's Eve after spending the evening with family, Charlie and Kalina went home to celebrate the new year with their dogs Zoey and Maya. At the strike of midnight, Charlie put on "Starting Over" by Chris Stapleton and ran to the room. He came out and asked Kalina to spend the rest of their lives together and she yelled YES!!!! The next day, Charlie said he waited as long as he could and followed Kalina's request to not propose in the dreadful 2020.
