Lauren and I met in college thanks to mutual friends, and apparently the universe decided we were a package deal from then on. We somehow managed to intern at the same company, get hired full-time at another company years later, and then even move to Tampa together in 2016. We’ve survived countless travel adventures that probably should’ve come with waivers, but we always make it home with great stories. She’s been my partner in crime through every stage of life, and I truly couldn’t ask for a better ride-or-die to stand beside me.
Taylore Johnson
Bridesmaid
I met Taylore through Charlie, but it didn’t take long before she became my person too. She is truly one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet, paired with a sense of humor that makes every dinner night and random Tuesday feel entertaining. I honestly couldn’t do half the traveling we do without her — she’s our trusted dog-sitter, house-watcher, emergency contact, and overall life manager. We cook dinner together almost weekly, live just minutes apart, and at this point she and Matt (yes, the groomsman 😉) are basically family. She’s loyal, dependable, and the kind of friend who shows up every single time — and I couldn’t imagine this day without her by my side.
Jack Macsherry
Best Man
Jack is my younger brother, but in a lot of ways he’s also one of my closest friends. We’ve traveled all over together - from Guatemala to China - and somehow always end up finding the best mix of adventure, great food, and a few questionable decisions along the way. While he’s built a career as an options director at Morgan Stanley and I’ve taken the entrepreneurial route, we’ve always stayed in sync where it matters - our shared love for motocross or mountain biking, exploring new places, and making the most out of wherever we are. Even though he lives in Baltimore and I’m in Tampa, we make it a point to see each other often, and it never feels like we’ve missed a beat. Jack gets along with everyone effortlessly - especially Pam - and has become close with the entire wedding party over the years. He’s someone I’ve always been able to count on, whether it’s for advice, a trip, or just a good time, and I couldn’t imagine having anyone else standing beside me as my best man.
Matt Anderson
Groomsman
I met Matt not long after moving to Tampa, and it didn’t take long before he became one of my closest friends. We’ve worked side by side on some pretty complex projects and somewhere along the way that working relationship turned into a friendship that’s been rock solid ever since. We share a lot of the same interests - music, friends, hobbies - and are always looking forward to the next trip or adventure together. Matt is the kind of person who always shows up, no matter what, and that’s something I’ve come to rely on more than I can put into words. He’s incredibly close with my family, and over the years has become just as much a part of it. He and Taylore (who is also one of my closest friends) fit seamlessly into our group - me, Pam, Lauren, and Taylore are always together - and it’s rare to have friendships this connected and consistent. Matt’s loyalty, reliability, and sense of humor make him someone I’m lucky to call my best friend, and I’m grateful to have him standing with me on this day.
